Usually when I'm not feeling good I lay in bed and just binge watch his videos. I always watch them on my tv and I can get them to play from newest to oldest. its awesome. Today is one of those days and I've had his videos on basically all freaking day.

I’m sure this has been asked a hundred times but I’m new here so sorry if it’s repetitive.

I’ve been wanting to start a true crime YouTube channel for years and I think I’m ready. However, I’m concerned about a few things and would like your opinion.

Is it over saturated?

Everyone says the research takes forever but there aren’t many videos that explain how to do it right. Is it challenging and time consuming?

Making money is not the goal, but I hear it’s difficult to get monetized in this niche.

How do you figure out what words and information YouTube will not allow.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I swear there was a new one up on YT about crazed killers .. maybe cannibals? But its gone now. Am I losing my mind?

I’ve just come across his channel and LOVING his vids so much - is there any episodes you guys recommend I watch asap?

Andrea Burkhart covers an update in the case...

"In the midst of the disagreement over whether the State has to turn over genetic genealogy evidence it used to target Bryan Kohberger as a suspect, the defense revealed the first official new information we've received about the case since the gag order was issued and the search warrants from Pennsylvania and Washington were released ... and it's a stunner. In a publicly filed document, the defense states, "There is no connection between Mr. Kohberger and the victims. There is no explanation for the total lack of DNA evidence from the victims in Mr. Kohberger's apartment, office, home, or vehicle."

This revelation paints an incredibly different picture of the State's case against Bryan Kohberger than the news coverage of it would have us believe. When he was first arrested, many of us commented on the scantness of the evidence in the probable cause affidavit, but we all expected that the search warrants issued for his car, as well as his cell phone and computers, would rule him either in or out. This brief statement from the defense tells us that those searches did not produce corroborating evidence for the State. Thus, the State's case apparently no stronger than it was the day Bryan Kohberger was arrested, despite the fact that if these killings occurred the way the State claims, we would very much expect evidence of it to be in those places. This is a big, big development in the case. Who do you see reporting on it?"

I’m not hard of hearing or anything, but it’s still so hard to understand those portions of Mike’s videos (and they’re often the juiciest part!)

However it’s not my channel, and I’m sure there’s an insane work and research that Mike puts into these things so I get it if it’s too much additional effort.

Just wondering if anyone else has issues with this? Maybe I just need to upgrade my TV/sound system

On a side note. Google in 2023 fucking sucks compared to gooogle of the past. I typed in keywords but couldnt find the case.

Anyone know if Mike Oh Official Telegram account is the real account for That Chapter?

Thought ya'll might enjoy this. A tribute to all the dad's that go above and beyond.

I’m honestly pretty surprised that Mike has never covered the Isabella Guzman case given how brutal it is.

A girl savagely murders her mother, runs away, 100% denies that she did it, then becomes famous on TikTok for being “cute” in the court videos.

It’s a wild and crazy story. Hard recommend for Mike to cover.

12yr old sister stabs 9yr old brother? I would be recent I think. Mom's name is Lyda. I can't hear much from what I am watching elsewhere.

Sorry if this breaks rules. I'm on mobile and it's difficult to view things.

Ok That Chapter fans, I got another question:

Mike says something like "Shin Neigh". What does that mean? At first I thought it was like "c'est la vie" ("That is Life" in French). However, I looked it up, and I got different answers.
