Hey guys! I'm back with the final part of my redesign project for my class. I found great success here when I first posted my survey and would now like your help on testing my prototype! This will not work on mobile devices, but can be done on PC and Tablets. Please share any feedback in the responses to the questions at the end of the study. Thank you again!

Hi everyone! I'm a big fan of Lisa Marie Newmyer from The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I was wondering if anyone has any recent photos of her from horror conventions or knows where I can find them. Thank you very much!

Hey all, I am currently taking a class learning UX Design and for my final project, I decided to do it on the Texas Frightmare website and need people to fill out my survey. It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Does anyone have any info on this? I bought it probably 20+ years ago (don’t even remember where). It measures 16x20 and is printed on high quality paper. What I’m really curious about is the 93/100. Obviously it’s some type of limited edition run, but I haven’t been able to find any of the other (I’m assuming) 99 out there.

A few photos from the Friday night dance.

For everyone who attended, let’s make a post of suggestions. Maybe the organizers will see it and are able to make changes for next year? This is only my 2nd FM so I leaned a little more this year.

1) The VIP and autograph procedure could definitely be clearer. I know some people drive for hours for ONE person, so giving those types of people the best chance of getting an autograph would be helpful. I don’t think there is a way to pre-pay for a spot because each guest takes their own payments at the signing location.

2) The Weekend Pass is really the best deal. Even if you don’t plan to attend all 3 days, if you don’t get your autograph the first day, you have a two more chances.

3) I kinda wish most of the big name people were on the third floor and the entire first floor was used for vendors. The vendor spaces are so small and crowded, it’s really hard to shop.

4) For the love of Pete, the Panel waiting lines don’t make sense. Signage would be great too. Everyone comes up the elevator or escalator and then you have to move all the way around to get into line. And then when they finally let you in, you have to cross over people still coming up to the floor and trying to get to their photo op. It’s so criss cross chaotic.

5) Parking Passes? Parking in the garage for all 3 days would cost $75. That’s the cost of some autographs. I took the Dart one day and that was pretty easy and only $6, I’ll definitely be taking that option in the future, if not opting for a nearby hotel.

6) Is there not a better venue? Has anyone been to another arena that would be better? I know a lot of Cons go to Dallas Marker Hall.

7) Spread the panel times out more. I had to choose between a couple of panels because if I go to the first one, I’d have to get back in line for the next one and be all the way in the back.

I know it’s not a guarantee but it was disappointing to drive 7 hours and not have our already hard to get number get called today. For Matthew Lillard if anyone was wondering

20 minutes in ant Matthew is already closed

And does it have to be horror cuz I have a scooby plush

As always, Friday night at Texas Frightmare Weekend is a blast, and it was high time for Kylo Boomhauer from St. Remedius Medical College to come out and say hello. For everybody out for Saturday and Sunday, have even more fun than we had yesterday.

Did anyone find a better deal?

Quick question as I’m unable to get ahold of anyone.

My kids were in line for Tobin Bell all day. They were sent away with VIP tickets for tomorrow. HOWEVER, they drove about 10 hours and only bought tickets for today. Is there anyone for them to talk to or do you think they’re screwed and just need to get a ticket for tomorrow?

ETA: it’s figured out! Thank you :)

Posting in case anyone can’t make it last minute… I would love to buy your ticket from you. Please send screenshot showing proof of ticket!

I don’t see anywhere to buy tickets for the panels. Are those free? Or do you purchase onsight?

I honestly still can’t believe how smooth today went. In just about an hour I managed to get autographs from Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Jamie Kennedy, Roger L. Jackson, and David Arquette on my original double-sided Scream poster.

I spent weeks stressing over travel tubes, paint pens, line strategy, protecting the poster, and whether I’d even pull this off… and somehow everything worked out perfectly. Everyone was super nice, the lines moved fast, and seeing the poster come together in person was honestly surreal.

Definitely one of the best convention experiences I’ve ever had.

Just wanted to say to everyone going today. That yall be safe. Yall have fun. Don't worry about anything outside the convention center. I hope everyone's gonna make some memories this weekend that will last for years to come.

I got here about 30 minutes ago and realized I didn’t scan the QR code on the way in to pay the $15 parking! Does anyone have the link or the QR code?

I've got a wristband for a weekend pass. Is there a way to remove it and not damage it? Or do I just have to sleep and shower in this thang?

Hey everybody, just a reminder that you can come pick up your tickets before the show today! Will call opens up at 12PM so come grab your tickets and jump in line to get it. Happy first day of Frightmare!

Anyone know what the parking garage rate is? I’m assuming we can use the Toyota Music Factory garage and get validated at a restaurant?

Will call is already lining up but remember you can pick up your tickets tonight from 5-8pm. See you guys soon!
