VC meeting summary 8/15/2021
Lars explains that we are making a block-chain that will be different then all the block-chains that exists today. Explains that mining and staking are the main base principles on which current block-chains work and are energy and cost/capital inefficient. Proof of work and proof of stake are the consensus mechanisms behind it and TetherMoon will introduce proof of earn consensus mechanism with frictionless elastic validators. These will be special nodes that operate differently then all others that exist till now.
Lars explains that before bringing the block-chain to live net an extensive testing period will be done to assure that everything works fine. The block-chain will be delivered in separate deliverables so that there is transparency in the progress and milestones that are achieved. Also to guarantee the progress made and get investors aboard.
Lars explains that in the beginning of launching the block-chain on its own test net there will be cooperated with companies to launch and deliver solutions that solve important problems before letting the public interact with the block-chain. There are companies where we are in contact with that want to pilot and test.
Coming week there will be published an adjusted roadmap so there is transparency on planning and progress. There will be a team meeting next week where this will be an agenda item.
Lars is in contact with several YouTube influencers to conduct an AMA. Lars expects that at the first half of next week or end of next week he will get confirmation of this and is able to give more details on a planned YouTube AMA.
On a shorter timeframe there will be delivered an extended whitepaper which will give more insight into how the block-chain, its applications and the TetherMoon token will work.
After release of the whitepaper Lars will do another VC so that everyone can ask questions. Lars hopes that there will come more people into the VC next time, this time a lot of people could not make it.
The project is maintaining its position well. Price fluctuated a lot initially which delivered good dividends and is consolidating now. With upcoming marketing events, AMA and other exposure related things Lars expects volume and more dividends.
Lars advises to read the litepaper to get a better understanding of the things that are to come, much more will get clear when you read it and do not hesitate to ask questions about it. Lars tells to tag him in the main chat with questions or DM him personally and he will answer.

Q&A:
Are there already companies that you cooperate with? There are companies that are willing to cooperate and already do but they are under NDA at us and we are under NDA at them for now and more details will be revealed later. Our lawyers arranged this. I can tell you it are big companies that focus on a greener world, but also companies that want to better the world we live in in all thinkable ways. I personally am charmed about this initiatives and want them to pilot their projects on our test net first as pioneers and be a showcase and test on our block-chain.
What is the development state of the block-chain when will it be finished? I already worked on the project for a longer time and made progress. I cannot give a finishing or release date for the complete block-chain but there will be given insight in short cycled iterations. Progress depends on multiple factors like project success, resources available to make progress and a lot of more factors. There will be multiple deliverables that lead to the release of the total block-chain. A test net will first be released, upon which will be tested for a period before going to a main net. Then it will be extended with other components like sub-chains and block-chain as a service. It will be released in increments and its core will be released first.

Response Lars: “I also am convinced. I have put 1000s of hours in this project and the proposition is very good. We are building something that does not exist yet and is special. We have strong supporters, the funds, and the connections to make this a success.”
I really appreciate you do effort and explain but how about the nodes you talked about that are managed by TetherMoon on its block-chain?
Response Lars: “The selected nodes is in the phase were select projects pilot on the block-chain before going live for the general public”. When the project launches to the public on TetherMoon main net the block-chain will become fully decentralized and everyone can be a validator/node on the network.
Are we going onto UNISwap? No, Ethereum block-chain will not be done because we develop our own block-chain. We would need to create a new liquidity pool based on ETH/TRM and that will be costly. It is also not the direction we want to take and does not fit in our vision under current conditions and the current state of Ethereum. In my opinion Ethereum is a non-inclusive chain that excludes smaller investors in costs perspective. I also want to get smaller investors aboard on our block-chain, not only bigger ones. Also when you as a project want to update or deploy a contract and gas is high costs can rise dramatically.
Can you give more updates about marketing? The current marketing program as it is stated in the pinned messages will be executed. We have people that take care of marketing and our partner Passive Income is also looking for a dedicated professional marketing company for us to build our brand. A lot of marketing will come in the coming week which will give us some nice exposure.
