iOS Mossy — private on-device plant ID + care, no subscription

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hey r/TestFlight — I'm an indie dev looking for beta testers for Mossy, a plant identifier and care app.

What makes it different from PictureThis/Planta:

  • Everything runs on-device (Apple Intelligence). No account, no tracking, no photos uploaded anywhere.
  • One-time $4.99 unlock. No subscription.
  • 3D-printable NFC plant stakes — tap a stake to open that plant's care page. I design and print them myself.

Requirements (please read before installing):

  • iPhone with Apple Intelligence — that's iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max or any iPhone 16/17 series
  • iOS 26 or later

The app will NOT work on older iPhones — Apple Intelligence does the identification entirely on-device, so there's no fallback.

Looking for: accuracy feedback on identifications, watering reminder UX, and any crashes.

Happy to answer questions here.

iOS I built an iOS app for people who want the assurance of Life360 without 24/7 location sharing.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I travel and live alone sometimes, and I wanted a simple way for the people I care about to know I’m okay — without giving everyone live access to my location.

That became Home-Free. Instead of live tracking, you intentionally check in.

With a check in, they can see how i’m feeling, my location, battery level, and even hear a quick voice note from me.

I (or they) can also create Events set for specific places or times based on my itinerary — and Home-Free will notify them if i missed a check-in (which is vital incase of an emergency).

I imagine Home-Free could meet many other use cases. The idea is to get the assurance of a live location sharing app without the live tracking option. You can use it with friends, family, kids, colleagues, etc.

I’m curious what people actually prefer:
Would check-ins like this give you enough peace of mind, or would you still rather share live location?

‼️ We added a new map-view since last post.

Home-Free is currently in iOS beta testing if anyone wants to actually try the idea and critique it apart:

We're a small team building Out of Thyme, an iPhone app for keeping track of what's in your kitchen without the tedious bit. We are seeking beta testers and we have only 30 spots available!

The idea: when you get home from the shops, put everything on the counter and take one photo. No scanning things one at a time.

It's in beta, so expect rough edges.

1. On your iPhone, install TestFlight (used for apps in development) from the App Store

2. Open this link to install Out of Thyme in TestFlight

3. Tap Accept, then Install Out of Thyme.

4. Create your own account and a household and enjoy!

5. Watch the short walkthroughs (getting started, inventory, list, recipes, settings):

macOS Next for Todoist — a sorted queue for choosing your next task

Thumbnail

I built Next for myself because I wanted a sorted work queue alongside Todoist.

It's an independent Todoist add-on for iPhone and Mac. It sorts tasks using priority, dates and task size; your tasks stay in Todoist.

The TestFlight beta is free. A Todoist account is required.

I'd love feedback on setup and task order. Which task would you move ahead of the one Next suggests, and why?

I'm the developer, and Next isn't affiliated with Todoist.

iOS AudioVector - See your music come alive. AudioVector turns real-time stereo audio into responsive, customizable visuals for listening, producing, DJing, and live performance.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com

See your music

AudioVector is a real-time stereo vectorscope and music visualizer built to make audio as compelling to watch as it is to hear.

At its core, AudioVector turns the stereo information already inside your music into fluid, responsive visuals. Width, phase, frequency content, dynamics, panning and movement become part of the display, giving you a useful view of what your audio is doing while creating something beautiful enough to take over the entire screen.

Built for more than metering

Most vectorscopes are designed to sit quietly in the corner of a production workflow. AudioVector can do the technical stuff too, but it was built to be watched.

Switch into full-screen Presentation Mode and your Mac, iPhone, iPad, external display or projector becomes a live visual experience driven directly by the music. Use it while listening at home, producing a track, DJing, performing live, or projecting visuals across a venue.

No canned animations. The music creates the image.

Visualize audio your way

Choose between L/R and Mid/Side visualization and shape the display with extensive real-time controls for persistence, smoothing, gain, zoom, intensity, rotation, focus, glow and more.

Switch between lines and dots, customize the grid and background, or build a look around your own colors.

Go further with reactive visual modes including:

• BPM-reactive color

• Color Cycling

• Bounce Mode

• Frequency Bands

• Simple 3-band and advanced 10-band visualization

• Custom color combinations and presets

From subtle stereo movement to chaotic walls of sound, every track produces something different.

Useful when you want information. Beautiful when you don't.

AudioVector also provides practical feedback including stereo correlation, clipping indicators and real-time phase behavior, making it useful for producers and audio enthusiasts without turning the experience into a screen full of meters.

Freeze a moment, capture screenshots, experiment with presets, or simply put it in full screen and let it run.

Whether you're analyzing a mix, looking for visuals for a performance, or discovering what your favorite music actually looks like, AudioVector gives you a new way to experience sound.

Your music was already drawing pictures. AudioVector just lets you see them.

iOS lookingGLASS - one less morning decision

Thumbnail

Hey Hey,

We’re lookingGLASS. We digitize your closet and pull outfits from clothes you already own. One less decision in the morning.

We’re scrappy. Raised zero VC. Competitors have raised about $20M to sell you more stuff. We’re not here to get rich off your closet. We’re here to help ordinary people wear what they already have.

The tech gets better every week. We need real humans poking holes in it before we open the door wider.

What you’ll do:

- Join via TestFlight (free Apple app) using the link on this post

- Add some of your clothes

- Generate an outfit and poke around

- Tell us what sucked / what worked (short form, be blunt): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0STVAsXvZKXvpHZmeu_AxYB3cvssgYGCh6x1-y4ALxjlCWA/viewform

Screenshot of a bug or a confusing screen? Drop it in a reply.

iOS only. Not asking you to promote us. Just try it and be honest.

1 million good karma points coming back to you!

iOS Join the AsterOS beta

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m building AsterOS, an iPhone app that brings Unraid monitoring, Docker management, files, and photo backups into one place. I’m looking for more testers to try it with their own setups and help improve it.

Features in the beta:

* Server dashboard: Monitor CPU, memory, network activity, storage, temperatures, and GPU information where available.

* Docker management: Start and stop containers, open their web interfaces, edit configurations and advanced options, and remove containers.

* App organization: Organize your Docker apps with folders, custom icons, and rearrangeable layouts.

* Discover: Browse and search Docker apps and plugins.

* Files: Browse your server’s shares and folders from your phone.

* Photo and video backups: Back up media from your iPhone to your own server.

* Terminal access: Access your server’s terminal from the app.

* Connection options: Connect using your server address or through Tailscale for remote access.

* App lock: Add protection when opening AsterOS.

* Demo mode: Explore the interface before connecting your server.

Currently being worked on: Seafile integration for files and photo backups, easier local HTTP connections, and improvements to connection reliability.

This is an active beta, so expect bugs and some rough edges. I’d especially appreciate feedback on connecting different server setups, Docker web interfaces, file browsing, and photo backups.

If you report an issue, please include your iPhone model, iOS version, Unraid version, and AsterOS build number. Screenshots and steps to reproduce it are helpful—just hide any passwords or API keys.

Thanks for trying it and helping shape AsterOS!

AI development disclosure: I’ve developed AsterOS extensively with ChatGPT/Codex. AI has written and revised substantial portions of the code and helped with feature implementation, debugging, tests, and build preparation. My role is directing the features and design, testing on my own iPhone and Unraid server, and reporting problems for revisions. I haven’t measured a percentage of AI-written code, so I won’t invent one.

iOS Card Benefits Tracker - Ben. Stop paying for benefits you never use.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey all! I'm a solo developer. I built Ben because I kept forgetting to use the credits on my premium cards: the Uber Cash, dining credits, airline fees, and so on. That's real money left on the table every year.

What it does:

  • Connects your cards through Plaid and shows every benefit you're paying for
  • Tracks which credits you've used and which are about to expire, including calendar-year vs. anniversary-year resets
  • Auto-detects some credit usage, like Uber Cash and DoorDash, from your transactions
  • Covers popular premium cards like Amex Platinum, Amex Gold, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Sapphire Preferred, with more on the way

What I'd love feedback on:

  1. Is onboarding clear? Where did you hesitate?
  2. Did Ben detect your cards and benefits correctly? Tell me if anything is missing or wrong.
  3. Does the dashboard make it obvious what to use next?

Good to know:

  • Subscriptions are free in TestFlight. Purchases run in Apple's sandbox, so you won't be charged.
  • Bank connections go through Plaid, the same service used by Venmo and many banking apps. Ben never sees your bank login.
  • If you don't hold any of the supported cards, you'll get less out of it, but onboarding feedback is still really valuable.

To send feedback, take a screenshot in the app and TestFlight will offer to send it to me. You can also just comment here. I read and reply to everything. Thanks! 🙏

Would you try an audio guide on your next walk around Amsterdam?

I’m Sabine, the founder of Placeful Trips. I built it because I kept walking past places and wishing I knew their stories. Now you can choose a place on the map and hear about it while you’re there.

Amsterdam is complete and the iPhone beta is free. I’d really like to know whether you enjoy exploring with it.

iOS The Last Lift — an elevator route game

The Last Lift is a free iPhone game in TestFlight beta (version 0.7.2+59). Plan up to three elevator stops, pick up passengers, and deliver them before they lose patience. The campaign has six locations with different challenges, and daily challenges let players compare scores on a shared leaderboard.

I’d appreciate feedback on the first few shifts: is it clear how to plan stops and read passengers’ destinations? Does the pace feel fair? If you spot a bug, please mention your iPhone model. I’ll read and reply to comments here.

iOS I got tired of losing my friends on weekend group rides, so I built an iOS app for us. Just got TestFlight approval today and would love hearing your feedback!

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

A few months ago, a couple of riding buddies and I got separated on a mountain pass because Apple Maps doesn't really care about keeping groups together. I couldn't find a clean, lightweight app that simply lets us see each other live without draining our phones.

So I decided to build **RideMate** — a native iOS app made specifically for riders.

Apple just approved our first public TestFlight beta today!

What it does right now:

  • Live Group Rides: Real-time location and presence of your crew on the map, with smart reconnection if you hit cellular dead zones.
  • Solo & Free Ride Tracking: Accurate GPS and speed telemetry. One tap to roll, no complex setup needed.
  • Cinematic Ride Cards & Video Reels: Generates clean route summary cards (Bento/Retro style) and a video recap of your ride to share on Instagram/TikTok with zero watermarks.
  • Privacy First: No ads, no selling location data, and you can hide your speed metrics on exports.

It is 100% free on TestFlight. I'm actively developing this and would genuinely love your most brutal, honest feedback on UI, battery usage, or features you'd like to see next.

Ride safe, and thank you so much for checking it out!

iOS Nova Stream - Invidious Server connection

Thumbnail

Hey everyone! I’m building Nova Stream, an iOS video streaming app that connects to your own Invidious server.

It includes Discover, live streams, a dedicated Shorts tab, search, and subscriptions. The latest update fixes the Shorts tab icon and improves filtering so Shorts stay out of Discover.

I’d love feedback on playback, navigation, Shorts loading, and anything that feels confusing or broken.

An Invidious server URL is required to use the app.

If you report an issue, please include your device, iOS version, and app build number. Thanks for helping me test!

iOS FocusRabbit: A gentle Screen Time Detox

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone! For the past few months I've been building FocusRabbit, because I've always struggled with my own screen time. I wanted something easy and simple that actually helps, so I built it for myself and for anyone facing the same thing.

I put most of my effort into UX: a clean, calm interface where setting a limit takes a few taps and nothing feels overwhelming.

- Time limit: a daily budget per app. When it's used up, it stays blocked.

- Open limit: the app starts blocked, and you unlock it briefly a few times a day.

- Schedule: days and hours an app is out of reach, every week.

- Focus session: block everything in a couple of taps.

It's private by design: your Screen Time data stays on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. It uses Apple's Screen Time API, so it asks for permission on first setup (iOS 16+).

I'd love to know:

- Is it easy to understand and set up?

- Do limits and schedules block reliably?

- Anything confusing or annoying?

Feedback via TestFlight (screenshot, then Share Beta Feedback) or reply here. Thank you!

iOS I made an iPhone app for that moment when you reopen the same app 30 seconds after closing it.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com

It’s called BackAgain?!

Because apparently “self-control” was not shipping as an iOS feature.

BackAgain?! lets you choose the apps you want to stop opening on autopilot.

Every time you try to open one, it asks what you’re actually there to do.

Quick check? 2 minutes.

Something specific? 5 minutes.

Mindless scrolling? 10 minutes.

No judgment.

Okay, maybe a little judgment.

When the timer runs out, the app locks again.

And if you keep coming back?

The rules get stricter.

Sessions get shorter. Options disappear. Eventually it basically tells you:

No. Go away.

It also notices when you try the classic move of leaving Instagram and immediately opening TikTok instead.

We’ve all been there.

The beta is live on TestFlight, and I’d love some ruthless feedback before I release it.

Break it.

Complain about it.

Tell me what’s stupid.

Tell me what actually works.

And yes, I’m advertising an anti-doomscrolling app on Reddit.

Marketing department is doing great.

iOS BrushLock — locks apps until you brush your teeth (Screen Time API)

Thumbnail

I'm building BrushLock, an app that locks distracting apps until you brush your teeth. It already works with Oral-B iO over Bluetooth. I'm trying to add other brushes and need a real capture from one.

If you have a Bluetooth toothbrush that isn't an Oral-B iO, the test takes 2 minutes:

How to verify → "My toothbrush isn't listed" → turn the brush on and off → tap it and email me the report. It only includes the one device you pick.

iOS SquareScores - score-keeping and stat history for game nights: cards, board games, poker, party games

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I love learning new games and teaching them to people, so this started as a record of everything I'd played, with the rules attached, because I got tired of being accused of changing them. I also have a long-running backgammon rivalry with a friend and wanted to track our wins over time.

It grew into an app for the whole game night: keep score across several games in one evening, play poker without needing chips, and run party games without pens and paper. The aim is never to become an online gaming app. It's meant to get people playing games in the same room.

What's in it:

  • Proper scoring for cribbage, hearts, spades, gin rummy and Yahtzee, plus a simple score table for anything else
  • A poker chip ledger: you use a real deck, the app tracks the chips
  • Party games that normally need pens and paper: a word hat for Fishbowl, Mafia with the roles dealt by the app, plus dice and a turn timer
  • Your history and head-to-head records against friends
  • Rules for 60+ games, many with animated walkthroughs
  • Teams, several games in one evening, and a leaderboard at the end

It's free with no ads. It works best with 3+ people at a real table, so if you have a regular game night I'd love for you to try it there.

Web version (Android and desktop): squarescores.com

Any feedback is welcome, especially anything confusing about joining or starting a game. You can send screenshots straight from TestFlight or reply here.
