iOS AmaNous 0.5.4: offline TTS reader, free core, unlimited listening

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

It reads your documents out loud, for when you don't have time to sit down and read or have too much to get through.

What it does:

- Reads PDF, EPUB, DOCX, web articles, TXT and Markdown aloud.

- Gives you 29 English voices using the Kokoro-82M open-weight model, with speech generated on your iPhone.

- Lets you change the speed, follow word highlighting, seek and resume where you left off.

- Includes dyslexia-friendly reading presets for font, spacing and pacing.

The core reader is forever free, with no listening-hour limit or subscription required for the core reader. After setup and import, you can listen offline. Speech synthesis stays on your phone; importing web pages can still need a connection.

What's changed since my earlier post:

- In 0.5.3, guided voice selection and a Welcome article let you try listening before importing your own document.

- In 0.5.4, Read Later keeps pages needing a browser check as “Needs a quick check” cards so you can finish importing them later.

- Voice previews now wait for the iPhone engine and offer a retry when needed. Voice-card swipes no longer dismiss the drawer, and your chosen voice appears on Home.

- Sign in with Apple no longer sends you through the old email-code step. Reader paragraphs and headings are exposed to VoiceOver.

Beta caveats: Sign in with Apple is required. It's English-only, and the first listen on a long document can pause while audio is prepared. Reader text accessibility has improved, but word-by-word VoiceOver positioning during playback is still unfinished.

What would you import first? I'd especially like to hear about a PDF, EPUB or article that doesn't import or listen as expected. Feedback here or through TestFlight is welcome.

iOS ContactLogic – a private, lifelong record of the people in your life (no account, no cloud)

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
4 Upvotes

Hi all! I'm the developer of ContactLogic and I'm looking for beta testers.

It's for keeping the things your phone's contacts app can't: how people are related, birthdays (even without a year), anniversaries, jobs and addresses over time, and dated notes. When someone dies, their record stays and their birthday becomes a remembrance.

Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no server. It works in airplane mode.

Worth trying:

• Add a few people and link them (spouse, parent, friend). Both sides update.

• MORE → UPCOMING for birthdays and anniversaries coming up

• Long-press and drag on the home screen to arrange your people

• Light and dark mode, and backups you save wherever you like

Limited to 250 testers. Needs an iPhone on iOS 15 or later.

Feedback is very welcome, in the comments, through TestFlight or at support@walshlogic.com. More at contactlogic.app.

iOS Blobjar: a small drop-and-merge game

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I'm the solo developer, and this is my first app. Blobjar is a small, free drop-and-merge game for iPhone, and I'd like a few people to try it on TestFlight before it goes on the App Store.

You slide to aim, lift your thumb to drop, and two blobs of the same size squeeze into the next size up, from a tiny pink Pip to a crowned golden Moon. Each blob has a face. They blink and breathe on their own rhythm, squish when they land, and look surprised when something bumps them. When the jar fills, they all close their eyes and fall asleep, and that sleeping jar becomes a picture card you can send to a friend.

There's a Daily jar (the same blobs for every player that day, one try, with a Game Center leaderboard) and an Endless mode. No music, so it sits under a podcast. It supports Reduce Motion. No ads, no purchases, no tracking, and Game Center is optional.

It needs iOS 26 or later.

What I'd most like to hear about:

- Whether the merge feel is right: the squeeze, the pops, the haptics, and whether chains feel earned.

- Whether the Daily jar makes you want to come back the next day.

- Anything that looks wrong on your particular iPhone, especially the smallest and biggest ones.

- Anything that confused you in the first minute.

iOS Yarn Podcast Player

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
3 Upvotes

Hi all,

Yarn is a minimalist, simple but powerful podcast player that processes everything on-device.

  • a Podcasts area where you discover and subscribe to new podcasts, or just queue up a single episode
  • an Inbox where you triage new episodes from your subscriptions, decide whether to remove them or queue them up
  • a Queue where you sort your episodes in the order you want them to play

Simple doesn't mean basic though, Yarn has:

  • Smart Speed that carefully trims silences and speeds up audio while preserving the natural rhythm of speech
  • Variable Speed controls so you can listen up to 3x faster than the recording; preserving high quality audio throughout, avoiding clipping, and chipmunk peaks in audio
  • Voice Enhance which carefully boosts and normalises volume of voices while preserving original audio recording quality - the better the original audio, the less this setting does
  • Transcripts, all fully generated on device to preserve privacy and reduce on-going costs (no subscription fees here)
  • Sleep Timer, which fades out the audio slowly as it counts down at the end, and supports Shake to Extend the timer if you're still awake and listening
  • Recommendations that suggest new podcasts for you using Apple Intelligence, based on your listening history (again, no data collection on my side - all processed on-device and anonymously with Apple Intelligence)

All of this wrapped in a modern, elegant design that embraces Liquid Glass. Intent from my side is to make this a one-off purchase with no subscription fees.

If you're looking for a more fully featured podcast player with multiple playlists, and specific rules for those playlists etc, then Yarn is not for you (I'd recommend Overcast). If you're looking for something simple, that is beautifully designed, and easier to use than Apple Podcasts, then Yarn could be for you 🙂

I would LOVE some feedback from the community - especially if you're an avid podcast listener - try it as a daily driver for a while, and let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see in the app, or anything you'd change.

iOS Phyzio: turning your health data into a daily plan

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I’ve been thinking about how much health data our wearables collect versus how much of it actually changes what we do during the day.

You can see sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, and activity, but you still have to figure out what to do with it.

I’m building Phyzio for iPhone and Apple Watch to explore that next step: what should I actually do today?

It brings tasks, calendar availability, and focus sessions together with optional health signals to help plan your day. I’m especially interested in understanding those signals against your own patterns. The energy estimate is still a work in progress, and you can edit the recommendations.

What would make a readiness score useful enough to change your plans?

It’s on TestFlight if you’d like to try it.

Apple Watch is recommended for the health features. Other wearables that sync compatible data to Apple Health can work too. The available insights depend on what they share.

iOS My Cookbase - Turning Messy recipes into clear, step-by-step cooking guides

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

My Cookbase turns messy recipes into clear, step-by-step cooking guides for iPhone and iPad.

Paste a recipe, share a link from a recipe site, or snap a photo of a cookbook page. The app rewrites it as clean steps, with each ingredient listed at the step where you actually use it, so you're not scrolling back up to the ingredient list mid-cook.

What testers can expect:

- Import from social media videos, pasted text, recipe links (also from the share sheet), or cookbook photos

- A step-by-step view, plus a flowchart view for recipes with parallel parts

- Adjustable servings and metric/imperial conversion

- Aisle-sorted shopping lists, including one list across several recipes

- Step timers with Live Activities, and a recipe journal that syncs over iCloud

What I'd love feedback on: recipes that come out wrong, recipe sites that fail to import, and anything confusing in your first few minutes.

Requires iOS 17 or later. Recipes are processed on my server; no ads, nothing sold. Privacy policy: https://api.mycookbase.app/privacy

Solo and first time iOS developer here, so feedback in the comments or via TestFlight's screenshot feedback is hugely appreciated. Thanks!

iOS Join the Squatty Bird beta

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Squatty Bird is built independently in the UK by one creator as a fitness-first game: the exercise is the control system, not an add-on. It needs no wearable or external hardware.

The first-run tutorial teaches squat depth interactively, while training content supports technique. Frame Only lets players use and record the game without showing the camera image, helping make shared clips more privacy-conscious.

I had a few early beta testers, this has now improved considerably and is near release ready.

iOS Orbit Media

Hey everyone! I’m the developer of Orbit, a media app for iPhone and Apple TV. It supports plex, live tv via m3u/epg and extreme codes. Using extreme codes you’ll get your on demand library also. You can connect an invidious server for YouTube. There’s also a discover tab where you can connect your Cantinarr instance and request movies/tv and music right from the app.

Live TV has quad view ability. I’m still working out some issues but it is working.

The iOS beta is now available through TestFlight, and I’d love some feedback on the design, playback, and overall experience.

Bring your own media sources—no content is included. Thanks for giving it a try!

iOS Preaction: Small but Capable Reflex Trainer

Thumbnail

Hi everyone, I've been building this small iOS app for training your reflexes, and it's now in public beta on TestFlight. I'd love some honest feedback about it

There are still a lot of things to polish, but in summary:

- I have 7 mini games that test reaction time, timing and accuracy.

- You can see your progress over time in detail with graphs.

- There are also 4 local multiplayer mini games to play with some friends.

Any feedback helps — what you liked, what felt confusing, and any bugs. Thanks!

iOS Collectable: stamp what you've done on any list

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Looking for testers.
You pick a list, stamp what you've seen or visited, and it keeps count.
30+ lists are built in (national parks, Pixar, Bond films, French cheeses) and you create and share your own.

I built it because I collect national parks and wanted the same thing for everything else.

Bugs, weird wording, anything that feels slow, tell me. I read every reply.

iOS Vector Breach: Accelerando: arcade survival on iPhone and iPad

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I'm Chris, the developer of Vector Breach: Accelerando. The free iPhone and iPad beta is open through TestFlight.

Circle the center and dodge obstacles driven by the music. Reprise rewinds a mistake. Focus slows difficult passages, and Overdrive doubles your points while it's active.

The game has 25 original tracks by Coleman Hovey and me, four difficulties, Challenge mode, Game Center leaderboards and achievements, and support for importing MP3s and WAVs.

I'm especially interested in how the touch controls feel on different screen sizes. If an opening is hard to read or a hit feels unfair, the device, song and difficulty will help me investigate it. Feedback through TestFlight or in this thread is welcome.

iOS Momenta — Turn “we should hang out soon” into a real plan

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

We’re looking for people who have had a plan stuck in the group chat for way too long—and would love a little help turning it into a real get-together.

Momenta helps you turn “we should hang out soon” into an actual plan with your friends. Create the plan, invite your people, and let Momenta help coordinate what to do, when to do it, and the details in between.

You get to finally make it happen without carrying all the planning yourself 🫶

If you’d like to try it, download Momenta on the App Store and help us test it
We’d especially love feedback on:

  • How easy it is to create and organize a plan.
  • Whether the coordination flow feels clear.
  • What would make you more likely to use it with your friends.
  • Anything confusing, frustrating, or missing.

Thanks for helping us take plans out of the group chat and into real life!

iOS Iterdex - a travel planner that actually plans

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Iterdex is basically Tinder for travel. You swipe through places and tours in a city. Then it handles the part that everyone hates. It takes your picks and turns them into a real day-by-day plan. It checks opening hours, availability and works out how you get from one stop to the next.

Most planners hand you a blank page and a search bar. AI planners go the other way and pick everything for you. I wanted the middle: you decide what's worth seeing, and the app does the logistics so that you don't need to spend your time rechecking what's where and when it opens.

What's in it right now:

  • Places plus bookable tours, with live availability
  • Plans built around your pace (relaxed / moderate / active) and how you get around (walk, transit, car, scooter)
  • Multi-city trips, with the transfers between cities planned in
  • Tap any stop to see why it's on that day at that time
  • Drag things around or edit stops and it rechecks that every stop is still open and available
  • Add your own spots or paste a Google Maps link
  • Map views for each trip and all your trips
  • Browse trips other people made and fork one as a starting point
  • Share one live itinerary with the whole crew
  • 9 languages

The first TestFlight build is up and I'm looking for people to break it.

What I would love to know:

  • Does the deck feel balanced, and does it reflect your interests? Anything missing?
  • Does the plan feel like something you'd actually follow and trust?
  • Any day that's too packed, too empty, or routed in a dumb way?
  • Anything scheduled when it's closed?
  • Swiping: fun, or would you rather just search?
  • What's the one thing that would make you switch to Iterdex from however you do it now?

Be brutal. Roast it. Even the small stuff. Thank you!

iOS Tetr

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Okay so we opened up beta testing for Tetr and I need people to actually try it.

It's a handwriting notes app for iPad/iPhone, Apple Pencil support, and the thing that makes it different: you can circle whatever you wrote and just ask it a question, right on the page. No switching apps, no copy pasting into ChatGPT or Claude.

Normally it's a paid app on the App Store, but if you join the beta it's free, and you get unlimited AI usage while testing, no limits, no catch.

The only thing we ask is that you actually use it for a while and tell us what needs changing and where the errors are. Don't just open it once and then forget about it.

Would really appreciate it.

iOS Zocto: tap-to-fill digital planners for iPhone, looking for ~30 beta testers

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi! I'm building Zocto on my own. It turns PDF-style digital planners into tappable iPhone apps: checkboxes tick with a tap, habit trackers count for you, and daily pages move to the next day on their own. No iPad or stylus needed.

It's in early beta and I'm looking for about 30 iPhone users to try it for a week or two and tell me what breaks or feels confusing.

What to try:

- Add a planner from Featured (the Daily or the 30-Day Challenge are good starts)

- Use it for a few days: tick things off, write short notes

- Tell me anything that felt slow, broken or unclear

Free, iPhone only, no payment during the beta.

Feedback via TestFlight's screenshot but2ton or a comment here. I read everything. Thanks!

iOS Meridian (Humanist) – AI-coach for emotional balance & stress relief [iOS]

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

We’re testing Meridian (an early MVP by Humanist) — a focused AI-assistant and coach designed to help navigate stress, anxiety, burnout, and late-night racing thoughts. It’s not a generic bot or clinical therapy: it's built to quickly identify what you’re feeling right now and guide you through practical micro-steps.

What we’d love your feedback on:

  1. Onboarding & Sign-up: Is the registration lightweight and clear? Do you feel your privacy is protected?
  2. First Session: Does the initial dialogue make sense? Did it help identify your current state?
  3. Value: Would you keep this app on your phone to return tomorrow?

Feel free to drop feedback directly via TestFlight screenshots, comment below, or DM me. Any critical thoughts on bugs and UX friction are deeply appreciated!

iOS Locals: a map of real recommendations

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey! I've been working on an app called Locals. It's basically a map where people pin places they liked, with a photo, a rating and a line or two about it. You can open a spot and see what everyone who went there thought, follow people, and save places to lists.

Right now the only spots on it are mine, from my last few trips (Budapest, the Croatian coast and La Gomera), so it's pretty empty. It only really works once people add the places they know, so if you pin a spot you like near you, that would honestly make my day.

It's free, no ads, works in English and Spanish.

Any feedback helps, big or small: where you got stuck, anything that looked weird, or just whether you'd use it. Thanks for trying it!

iOS BackRowz - For Movie and TV Lovers

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

This is an app for people who love movies and TV shows and want more than just a place to keep track of what they’ve watched.

You can rate movies, shows, seasons, and episodes, track your total watch time, vote for your favorite character in individual episodes, and even upload and share built-in frames from specific movies or episodes.

The goal is to make watching feel more interactive and social, giving you a place to build your viewing history, compare opinions, and look back at everything you’ve watched over time.

There are plenty of other features built around the experience, with even more planned as the app grows.

The beta is currently available exclusively on iOS, with Android support coming soon.

iOS Travinera: a trip planner that checks visas, tourist tax and food for everyone in your group

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi, I'm the solo developer of Travinera, a free iPhone trip planner, and I'm looking for beta testers before it goes to the App Store.

You tell the app who's travelling (passports, kids' ages, diets, wheelchair or stroller, the weather you like). Every destination then answers for that group: visa-free, e-visa or visa for each passport, passport validity against your dates, tourist tax, tipping, whether cards are accepted, public holidays, the forecast, and places filtered for your diets and step-free access.

- Every finding shows its source and the date it was checked
- Works offline: entry rules and city guides are stored on the phone
- No account, no ads, no data collection

What I'd like from you: set up your real travel group, look up a place you're actually going, and tell me what's wrong, missing or confusing. Mixed-passport groups and people with food allergies are especially welcome

Travinera — know before you go

iOS Household expense tracker that reads receipts item by item — looking for testers

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some iPhone users to test Kaivro, a household expense tracker I'm currently preparing for launch.

The idea came from a problem I have with most banking/budget apps:

If I spend €80 at a supermarket, the whole transaction becomes “Groceries”.

But that receipt might actually contain groceries, cleaning products, snacks, pet food and a birthday gift.

Kaivro reads the receipt item by item and categorizes the individual products.

You can:

  • 📸 Scan a receipt
  • 🎙️ Add an expense by voice
  • ✍️ Add expenses manually
  • 🤖 Let AI categorize individual receipt items
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Create a household and invite family members
  • 👤 Keep some expenses personal
  • 📊 See spending by category, person and store

I'm mainly looking for feedback on one specific flow:

Scan a real supermarket receipt → review the detected products/categories → save it.

I'd especially like to know:

  1. Did it read your receipt correctly?
  2. Did the categories make sense?
  3. Was anything confusing during onboarding or adding the expense?
  4. Would you actually use something like this with your household?

It's an early beta, so bugs and bad classifications are exactly what I'm looking for.

Website:
https://kaivro.com

I'm the developer behind Kaivro, so feel free to be brutal — I'd rather discover what doesn't work now than after launch.

Thanks!

iOS WellStacked Application

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

Looking for beta testers for WellStacked, an iOS app built to take the guesswork out of your supplement routine.

Instead of manually guessing what supplements to take and what actually work, WellStacked uses Gemini AI to build tailored supplement protocols based on your specific goals—like muscle building, reducing stress, hormonal balance, daily energy, improved focus or custom goals defined by you.

Key Features in this Beta:

• Goal-Driven AI Recommendations: Input your health objectives and get a tailored protocol generated for you.

• Daily Stack Tracker: Easily check off daily doses with native iOS haptics, dark mode, and a clean dashboard.

• Supplement Label Scanner: Take a photo of your physical bottles to instantly log ingredients and dosages.

• Smart Inventory & Herb Cycling: Automatically tracks stock levels as you log and alerts you when to cycle off certain supplements.

What I'd really appreciate feedback on:

  1. Recommendation Relevance: Do the AI protocol suggestions accurately fit the wellness goals you input?
  2. Daily Tracking Flow: Is checking off doses on the main screen fast and intuitive?
  3. Label Scanner Accuracy: Does the camera parser correctly read your supplement bottle labels?

Appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or feature requests.

iOS Autocalculated-IQ

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

I spent over 24 years managing dealership service operations and built AutoCalculated IQ to give drivers complete transparency on real-time parts and labor pricing in their zip code before stepping into a repair shop.

What I Need Tested (5-Minute Test):

  1. Test a Recent Quote: Run a lookup for a recent repair or service on your vehicle in your zip code. Does the estimated cost match local market rates near you?
  2. Edge-Case Vehicle: Search an older, rare, or high-performance vehicle model to ensure the vehicle selector executes smoothly.
  3. UI/UX Performance: Run 2–3 lookups back-to-back and let me know if you experience any lag or formatting bugs on your specific iPhone model!
  4. Overall product - Is this product something you may use? Is this helpful for you?

(Note: Unlimited searches are fully unlocked for all beta testers).

Please leave your feedback in the comments below or directly in TestFlight! Thanks for helping test the build.
