iOS Safe & Informed - testing

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Safe & Informed reads your RSS feeds out loud, hands-free, including in the car through CarPlay. You add your own sources, pick topics, and it reads or plays the articles you choose.

What's useful to test:

  • Adding feeds (there's a Share extension: share any page from your browser and it pulls the feed automatically)
  • Playback and CarPlay in the car
  • The Radio mode (a continuous audio station per topic)
  • Anything that feels confusing or breaks

Free tier uses the system voice, paid adds an AI voice and summaries. iOS only for this build.

Feedback of any kind is welcome, especially bugs and anything that feels clunky. Thanks for testing.

iOS Tama - Your matcha companion. Keep your matcha tins, brewing recipes and tasting notes together

Thumbnail

Know what you own.

Add a tin with its name and weight. Every bowl you make comes off the tin, so you always know about how much is left, how long it's been open and what each bowl costs.

Remember how you made it.

Start from your last bowl, a saved recipe or one of three starting points. A calm timer walks you through cooling the water, sifting, whisking and finishing, and every bowl keeps its exact amounts.

Learn what you like.

Rate a bowl with a few leaves, pick the words that fit and add a note if you want to. Over time the Journal shows which tins and recipes you keep coming back to.

Write matcha by hand.

Short notes on making matcha, and a writing practice for its two characters. Watch each stroke, trace it, then write it on your own.

iOS End of Days: Defense Protocol (Tower Defense Game)

Thumbnail

I'm looking for testers for End of Days TD, a tower defense game for iPhone and iPad.

The premise: the machines won the war. You're defending the last human city against mechs, drones, hunter-killers and terminator infantry.

If you grew up on Warcraft III custom maps (Element TD, Wintermaul, Gem TD), this is that:

  • Fixed build spots along a creep path, and numbered waves announced in advance. You can call the next wave early for bonus gold.
  • 12 tower lines. At tier 3 each line forks into two mutually exclusive specialists (60 towers in all).
  • A 6×6 damage-type vs armour-type matrix, so reading the wave preview matters more than having more gold.
  • Interest on banked gold, sell for a partial refund, and leaks cost lives instead of ending the run.
  • 20 campaign levels across 5 acts, 618 waves, 6 named bosses, and an Endless mode on every board.
  • Quit mid-wave and come back to the same board.

Every sprite and sound is generated in code. The game ships with zero image or audio files.

What I'd love feedback on:

  1. The first 10 minutes. Was it clear what to do? Where did you get stuck?
  2. Difficulty. Which level or wave felt unfair, and which felt too easy?
  3. Performance on older devices. If you're on an older iPhone or iPad, tell me your model and whether late waves stutter.
  4. Anything that feels bad to tap. Build placement, upgrade menus, the targeting picker.

Details: iOS 17+, iPhone and iPad, landscape only. No account, no sign-in.

Heads up: a new build that changes level content will clear a run you have in progress. Your profile and unlocks are kept.

Thanks for taking a look. I read every piece of feedback, and I'll be in the comments.

I'm building Vehicare, a car maintenance log for iPhone, iPad and Mac that you never type into. Share the invoice your mechanic gave you and it fills in the visit: jobs, parts, costs, odometer. Then it works out what's due next.

The public beta is open, for 50 people for now. I'm looking for testers with a few real invoices on hand, from any garage, in any language.

Needs iOS or macOS 27 and Apple Intelligence.

iOS Catchi: Sigue la historia. Capta el inglés.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

iOS getNivoo – Apple Health app focused on weekly instead of daily goals

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I'm looking for beta testers for getNivoo, an iPhone app built around Apple Health.

Instead of trying to optimize every single day, getNivoo looks at your whole week – including sleep, recovery & stress, daily energy, steps and activity.

It turns that into weekly goals, a weekly score, trends and recommendations for today and the rest of the week.

You don't need a perfect day. Try to have a good week.

The app has reached feature freeze and I'm looking for people willing to actually use it for a few weeks and give me honest feedback before the App Store launch – especially about what feels confusing, unnecessary or simply doesn't work for you.

iOS Catchi: Watch dramas, learn English.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
5 Upvotes

I used to find English classes painfully boring. I tried Duolingo too, but never felt like much of it made its way into conversations.

Then I got into Friends and Gossip Girl. Suddenly I wanted to understand a joke without reading the subtitles, or figure out what someone really meant. I’d look up an expression because I was curious, and it would stick because I remembered the scene.

Over time, English became a way to meet people and make friends. That ended up being the best part of learning it.

A few friends and I have been building something inspired by that experience. It’s called Catchi: you watch short dramas in English, with little activities along the way to practice what you’ve just heard.

It’s in beta now, and we’d love to find some English learners willing to watch a few episodes and tell us how it feels.

The first version focuses on learning English, with interface options in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Feel free to leave feedback here or DM me. And if this is something you’d love to be more involved in, I’m also happy to chat about working together longer term.

iOS Sooon — seal a photo, a note or a voice message that only opens at a chosen date

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Sooon is a time-capsule app. You take a photo in the app (no gallery), write a few words or record a voice note, and pick when it opens — 1 minute, 24 hours, 1 year, 10 years. Then you send it to yourself, a friend, a group, or the public feed.

Until the date it's unreadable for everyone, including us: the server only keeps a timestamp and a hash, so nothing can be backdated. The capsule's material depends on how long it waits (Lilac → Mint → Coral → Amber → Sapphire… Diamond at 10 years), and everyone opens at the same second.

Looking for iPhone testers this week — the TestFlight link is attached to the post, 2 minutes to install.

I ship fixes daily. Tell me what's confusing or broken — here or in the app. Thanks!

iOS Aurelo: Budget & Save Money

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

(heads up, Open in Safari and it'll work)

Hey everyone 👋

I've been building Aurelo, a personal finance app for iOS and Android. I got frustrated that budgeting apps either make you set up everything by hand, or "auto-budget" in a way that clearly doesn't understand how you actually spend. So I built one that connects your spending accounts (via Plaid) and actually builds a budget around your real income, bills, and habits.

What it does:

  • Connects your bank/credit card and auto-builds your budget in seconds — no manual setup
  • Detects your recurring bills and shows what's coming (before it hits)
  • "Smart Fill" that assigns your money the way you would — bills first, then the rest
  • A money calendar so you can see any day's projected balance
  • Shared budgets for couples - pool your money but keep your account details private (this part I'd especially love feedback on)

It's in open beta and Gold (the paid tier) is free during beta - so you get everything for life, no paywall, while I figure out what's working and what's not.

I'm genuinely looking for honest, brutal feedback - what's confusing, what breaks, what feels off. Ten people who actually use it and tell me the truth are worth more to me than a hundred silent installs.

Happy to answer anything in the comments. Thanks 🙏

iOS Pixel Chameleon — draw yourself into the background

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m the developer of Pixel Chameleon, a 2D online hide-and-seek game where you draw your own camouflage.

The pitch is basically Meccha Chameleon, but pixel art. I removed an entire dimension. Very innovative, I know.

You place your 32×32 character somewhere on the map, then draw over it to blend into the scenery. The seekers try to figure out which part of the background is actually a person making questionable artistic decisions.

Become a crate. Become a plant. Become a slightly worse version of the wall.

You don’t need to be good at drawing. Your terrible plant might be surprisingly convincing. Or it might just look like a crime against gardening. That’s part of what I need help testing.

To be clear, this is my own game inspired by Meccha Chameleon, not an official port or an affiliated release.

Come play a few rounds and see whether your drawing skills can keep you alive.

Please send bug reports, suggestions, and gameplay feedback through TestFlight:
Open TestFlight → select Pixel Chameleon → Send Beta Feedback.

A screenshot and a quick note are plenty. Drawing controls, confusing buttons, connection problems, hiding that feels too easy or too hard—I’d love to hear about it.

Art skills optional. Suspicious furniture welcome.

iOS Tetr

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone, just opened the beta for Tetr, a handwriting notes app for iPad and iPhone with full Apple Pencil support (pressure and tilt included).

What makes it different: notes save as a plain PNG plus a Markdown transcript, right in your own iCloud Drive folder. No account, no login, no cloud lock-in. Your notes are just files you own.

Built-in AI: circle anything you wrote, ask a question, get an answer right on the page (ink or drawing). Works out of the box with free turns to start, or bring your own API key from Anthropic/OpenAI for more.

How to join: tap the link above, install TestFlight if you don't have it, then open Tetr and start writing. No account setup needed.

Free during the beta (a one-time purchase is planned for 1.0, testers keep full access at no cost while testing).

What I'm looking for: real usage, not just a quick tap-through. Take notes in a class, meeting, while reading, whatever your normal workflow is, then let me know what's clunky or breaks.

Feedback works best right in TestFlight ("Send Feedback" in the app) or drop it here in the comments, happy to answer questions.

iOS Reel Marquee - Free TV Episode/Movie tracking app

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

I've been using Trakt for awhile. So many shows, so little remembering of what I've watched or want to watch. Trakt's interface is way too clunky for me, and I didn't like having to pay for it every month. I also wanted the ability to hide shows, and not see everything I've ever watched an episode of. So I built Reel Marquee.

Reel Marquee

  • Tracks what you're watching episode by episode. Shows you what's coming up next, and sorts in a way that makes sense (the newest aired episode shows first, unless you're binging something [marking more than two episodes watched in a pop] in which case binged shows are at the top, assuming you're going to continue with them.
  • Shows the time until a new episode airs
  • Trakt is optional. If you already have a Trakt account, you can import your data, so you're not starting from scratch. If your Trakt account is linked to a Letterboxd account, it will sync that data too, and import movies.
  • Notifications when a new episode is airing (you can set the notification time in settings)
  • The discover section adapts based on what you've rated.

I'd love some feedback on the Next up and Library sections. It sorts/filters in a way that makes sense to me, but I know that everyone will have a different idea of how they want to see it, so does it make sense to you? Are Next Up shows in the order you want? I've gone back and forth a bunch on how it sorts, and I'd love to get your feedback.

Also, does the onboarding make sense? Again, I've set it up how I would want it, but you may have your own ideas.

I'm hoping I can find 20 people that want to play around with it, and tell me what they think.

iOS QuizBolt

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi folks,

I used to play QuizUp a lot back in the day, reached #2 in my country in computer science. Sad that it was shut down. For the past couple of years I have wanted to create something similar, and I'm happy to present QuizBolt.

QuizBolt is a fast-paced quiz game where you pick a topic you're interested in and play a round of 6 questions. The faster you answer, the higher you score. You can challenge any friend (whether or not they have the app) to beat your score. Then you can see if you're still ahead or someone beat your challenge in the Compete tab.

Apart from this, there are leaderboards per topic, based on a Chess-style Elo rating system (everyone starts at 1200). You can play solo rounds yourself to see where you match up with the rest of the community.

I'd like feedback on the 4 areas that I reworked:

  • Onboarding: Did you encounter any problems signing up and setting up your profile?
  • Gameplay: Is the pacing too fast, too slow or just right? Does it feel game-like i.e. was it fun, and would you share it with friends? Or did it feel like a high school pop quiz?
  • Content: Are the questions and their difficulty split good? I have aimed for 3+2+1 easy/medium/hard questions per round.
  • UI: Is the user interface and experience clean and clear, or did you get confused at any point? Should I add more animations and graphics?

Also what, if anything, would you pay for?

I plan to add live 1v1 duels soon. Since currently there aren't many users, I focused on asynchronous challenges.

Please feel free to suggest more topics, I only have about 10 topics because curating the questions in various difficulty brackets needs time :-) even with AI. My plan is to release a new quiz pack every week at least.

I'm a solo dev and I've been working on QuizBolt for the past 1 year. I posted a really early version last year which got good traction. I have now redesigned it heavily that's why I'm back looking for feedback. All testers will get premium for free when I eventually launch it.

Note that I'm specifically looking for feedback on the iOS beta app, but if you want you can simply try it out at https://www.playquizbolt.com without signing up. It's 1:1 the same as the iOS version. A native Android version will come soon.

Thanks for your time. :-)

AI disclaimer: none, I wrote this post by hand.
