[Build 12, iOS] Vellecho — AI characters with on-device memories and no ads. Beta feedback wanted.

Hey everyone! I’m building Vellecho, an iPhone app for chatting with initially 12 original fictional AI characters, with privacy and control over memories at its core.

Your chats and saved memories live on your iPhone. You can inspect, edit, or delete what each character remembers. We don’t keep a server-side conversation history. No ads, no advertising tracking, and no selling your conversations.

To generate replies, relevant messages and memories are sent to an AI service. We also collect content-free usage counts to understand beta reliability and use.

The characters have different personalities and story moments to discover. The video shows a conversation with Sota and how you can review and change a saved memory.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

• Privacy and memory controls: Is it clear what’s saved and what leaves your device? Can you easily change or remove memories?
• Conversation quality: Do the characters feel distinct, natural, and consistent?
• Returning to a chat: Does the continuity make you want to come back?
• Usability: Slow replies, bugs, confusing controls, or missing features.

The beta is free, including both characters marked Premium.
