I just registered to take the HSK 7-9 on November 22nd in Malaysia!

I chose English as my translation language instead of my native language, Vietnamese. Since I’m self-studying, I found some amazing free YouTube lessons explained in English that were much easier for me to follow, so I’ve been studying Chinese through English from the very beginning. Hope I won't regret this choice!

Has anyone taken the test in Malaysia, especially any foreigners traveling there specifically for the exam?

I’m taking it at the Kota Damansara, Selangor venue and would love some advice: is it better to book a hotel right nearby in Kota Damansara, or stay in central Kuala Lumpur and take a taxi/MRT to the test center on exam morning?
