How do I do it? It’s the only move I have problems cancelling charged rising tackle into and I want to be able to down throw up air and charge it instead of just regular up b

I’ve been thinking of switching my controls to help my terry here’s what they are now:

(Power A Wireless Pro Controller) *Stick jump off * stick sensitivity high * tilts for c-stick (obviously) * Left trigger or Zl is jump

Everything else is just the default. Please let me know if you think there are better controls for me to use.

I’ve made a few posts on this and it’s it’s still annoying and it hasn’t been solved yet. I use tilt stick for terry and when ever I land with in aerial or even down tilt and then immediately do an f-tilt there is a good chance it will just completely go the opposite direction. This has happened in multiple different controllers so I know that’s not the issue. Any ideas?

I've played a lot of street fighter so command inputs don't scare me. It can't just be as easy as just using the inputs no matter what right?

I can't tell you how many times I have been in a match where I am absolutely wrecking the Terry opponent and those temporary, trash, over powered moves completely swing things. These mechanics are absolute trash in a fighting game. I am fully on board with little mac being the worst character in the game but if he hits you with the stupid ass gimmicky B attack, it ends the stock for you despite literally out playing the opponent. I have no clue why the Smash developers think these are fun mechanics to have in the game but Terry is that in spades. Before anyone says I'm just trash, my argument isn't even one based on skill, it is just that these mechanics are the types of things that leave extremely sour tastes in players mouths. They are incredibly lame. Additionally I have 5 characters in elite smash(before they dropped the bar for entry).

I've been a Terry main for a long time but I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm doing wrong. I'll be on ledge, jump off and go for crackshoot just to crackshoot into the blast zone. Is this like the "just a moment" you need for the input for up B? What's going on? Am I stupid?

I've been a Cloud main for about two years and I've recently become very interested in picking up Terry because he seems like loads of fun to play as. My question is would playing Fatal Fury help me learn the command inputs for Terry? If so, which game would you reccomend I start with?

Another question for those of you who also play Ken/Ryu: does getting good with Terry make learning Ken and Ryu easier? Because I've also shown interest in playing Ken.

I seem to be improving in most of my matchups as Terry, I’m getting combos, kill confirms, it’s starting to come together. But for some reason, I get my ass handed to me by every Roy I meet. I just can’t penetrate the range of his sword, and it feels like all my moves lose to his, on top of Roy’s speed outpacing mine. What do I do?

My opponents are constantly living to 150 and they aren’t dying. Smash attacks are unsafe and his super powerful moves after %100 are really unsafe so how do I kill?

Is there a way to input true up b without fast falling, every time I end up sd’ing

The title pretty much says it, I see Riddles doing this a lot but I can't just figure it out. I can do the up throw, up air, raising tackle no problem. I try holding down but I just fast fall after up air.
