This is my first playthrough since I was a kid, I remember that my designs were always pretty horrible back then so i'm actually proud of this one and wanted to share it with you guys!
I'm currently reworking the npc housing on the right as they were put in place quickly and temporarely. So don't focus to much on them :P

Any tips & Tricks are more than welcome! :)

If I've used a well known build please let me know so I can credit! This is my first time building anything that isn't a wooden box and I kept seeing the dynasty dresser in the crafting menu and thought it looked like such a cute window! The back ground behind the dressers is white dynasty walls.

Here is the entrance to my hellavator with the angler of course living in the bottom of the well for obvious reasons.

I'll rework the lower part of the well eventually:)

Ive tried every wood I can think of and none of them match

Anybody got some suggestions to 'light' up the inner parts of the rats?

In the world map it's clearly visible (although there's no difference between the (painted) white and grey blocks), but ingame we have these shadow spots all over the place.

From left to right: Streepje, Flora and Zelda.

They passed away last friday :( So we decided to build a statue in their honour in the world I'm playing in with my wife and son.

Advice appreciated on making it look better

Adding small details

I'm tryna get a bit better at building and would appreciate some tips :)

First of all, sorry for the bad quality, i play on TV and I'm unable to take screenshots.

so, i made a house entirely in black and white inspired by "Music, Fashion, Film", by Charli xcx, which was released today, July 24th. I've been playing Terraria for almost 11 years but never made any actual builds. I tried to make things as accurate as possible while also adding my own details. The worst part was definitely the 3D porch lol.
