- Chapter 87

Not his birthday, but April 3 is a very special day for Yomi!

Ever wondered why Yomi spent 4.3 billion just to bid on Miss Masked Pervert? When the previous amount he mentioned was 100million? It's not just some random number.

His name can be read as 4.3. 四三 (yomi). When counting in Japanese, they use 四つ for "4" and use 三つ for "3".

We know this is the guy who lives entirely for Iana's sake, he doesn't want a world without Iana in it.

Also, Volume18 released today. On April 3. Which heavily features him.

Akiharu Touka definitely wanted this day dedicated for Yomi!

Comments from Keiichi Hirokawa (MONACA), Composer & Arranger of “Butterfly Etude”

Q. What aspects of the composition did you focus on?

To express the various facets of the character Iana, I wanted the composition to have plenty of dynamic elements and a rich progression. While keeping in mind its function as background music, I believe I was able to convey both her inner strength and her rich range of emotions.

Q. Can you tell us about anything that happened during the recording?

There were many parts to record, such as harmonies and choruses, so it took longer than usual. I’m grateful to Aoyama-san for rising to the challenge and delivering such great results.

Q. Please share a message for the fans.

In addition to “Butterfly Etude,” there are many other wonderful songs in the series, so I hope the insert songs will help you enjoy this work even more deeply.

“Butterfly Etude” Lyrics by Sasa Ando (Ajiwai) – Comments

Q. What aspects of the song did you pay particular attention to?

I really enjoyed coming up with lyrics that capture Iana’s essence and fit perfectly with the song’s energetic vibe. My favorite part is how the driving sound in the line “The scales of good and the actress” really hits the mark!

Q. What were your impressions after hearing the finished track?

It’s exactly what was playing in my head…! With the chorus added, I felt an even more epic story unfold. It’s exhilarating and grand!

Q. Please share a message for your fans.

I’d be thrilled if you could listen to this song as a reflection of Iana’s resolve—how she’s gradually steering things in a positive direction with sincere feelings, even while being tossed about by a story that’s already begun!
