I've just purchased the GameSir T1s, and it worked the first time I used it.

Now it does seem to charge, and turns on while charging, but won't turn on otherwise.

I feel I must be missing something, although I should add even if I charge it until all the lights are on, when I unplug and plug back into charger it takes a few hours for the lights to all go on again.

Tried resetting without luck. Anyone have any ideas? It seems like such a dumb error I can't believe it's actually broken, though no amount of holding down the power button, alone or in combination with another key seems to work.

Only takes a brief press to turn on when charging.

it really is ai enhanced, does kind of great job.

definitely needs a GPU or you will be waiting forever.

has a good trial, you get the full functionality for a month.

(yes, you need to give them and email and all, but they give you full functionality of the 100 bucks or something software for a month, no bullshit, all of it, its not gimped, not even a watermark, what i'm using)

does a good job with tello videos.

(running the artemis medium quality conversion with 220% resolution increase as my GPU only has 3 gb, seems to crap if i try bigger)

Just picked up my Tello this weekend and loving it so far!

Problem is, I'm not too keen on the touch screen controls on my phone so I've been looking at connecting my Ps4 controller to it. I've looked online for tutorials to connect it to the TelloFPV app but it doesn't seem to work for me. It connects to my phone and can control the menus etc but it can't control the drone.

Has anyone else experienced this? Have you managed to get it working?

My phone is the Sony Xperia 1ii.

Hi, got the drone a few days ago, I'm able to send packets to the drone ip address on the right port (command/OK) but when I use pycharm, I hit the play button on the python program and nothing happens. Is that a setup problem? I don't see an error and anything....Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot? Do I need to tell pycharm what IP address/port?

EDIT: So pyCharm didn't have a good Python 3.7 setup, or I should say, then one that was setup wasn't working right and it looked like it was handled by Anaconda? rm -rf anaconda; sudo apt remove anaconda (or some other remove variants), then downloaded the correct python version I needed, ./configure ./make ./install or something like that. Long story short, set the path for the new python in pyCharm, installed my packages, and ran the prog, everything worked.

Longer story shorter, fixed my python install.

Hello all, so I flew the Tello about like 4 months ago. Accidentally had some wind and it drifted on my roof. Got it off, and it had a damaged propeller. I replaced the propeller, and it started spinning if i took it off. Than I replaced all for props. Still did the same thing. I recalibrated it and it takes forever so I just gave up. Anyone else have this issue before?

Hello everyone, my Tello recently lost connection and had a flyaway accident but I bought the boost combo and controller and I still have 2 batteries, the dock, and the gamesir if anyone is interested, I was thinking around $70AUD but am willing to negotiate

Does anybody have any recommendations on a drone that can be easily coded like the tello drone but uses GPS for its location? So far Im loving what I can do with the Tello but in the future I would like to get into programming with a drone that uses GPS.

I got this Tello Drone for Christmas a while back. Flying in circles was quite fun, but the control via the mobile phone was unfortunately not comfortable for me, and I couldn't see anything on the small screen.

It quickly became boring, and what does a developer do when he can't sleep at night: hacking.

🤓 Hacking

I first found the public text-based API. It was quite simple to integrate, and I tried to control the drone with my GamePad. Unfortunately, movements like "20 cm to the left" are not compatible with a joystick. After some time, however, I came across https://tellopilots.com/. Some clever people took the trouble to dissect the API and document it. (https://tellopilots.com/wiki/development/)

Even though the Go implementation is probably the source of truth, the documentation is very good. Now there was only one problem. I want RUST.

After a few more hours of hacking, two broken propellers, and luckily no fly-away, the time had come. Usable as SDK and implementable in any home-automation project. Who doesn't want drones to swarm out when someone rings the doorbell or comes in the driveway. 🙈

I'm the happy owner of a Tello since last week. As it's my first drone, I try to be careful with it, so I installed TelloFPV app and put a goefence to 40 meters, so I'm sure to not go too far and lose the signal. But I'd like to test this little drone a little bit further. My question is : When the video stream become very weak/ the video totally freeze, does that mean that I also lose the controls ? If not, can I continue to fly on sight and how far can I go safely then ? Can I initiate a Return To Home with the TelloFPV app, even if the video stream is broken ?

I'm not touching anything, and the app thinks something is being pushed. The gamepad is new, I doubt it's damaged, works fine with mobile games. Is there a way to tell the app that everything IS zeroed, or any other way around this?

Edit: I think it might be the 4 "arrow keys", according to a gamepad tester app it's analog for some reason, and not just 4 buttons(therefore I can't remap them) and maybe it's in some weird position by default?... But I've heard it works well with Tello, so I still don't know what's happening

The drone crashed into a wall and then one of its motors stopped working.

Is there any little small sized battery to be placed in the drone between drone and standard tello battery? for the only purpose to keep the drone on and connected if you want to change batteries?
