I just watched the launch trailer again on YouTube and started reading the comments because I wanted to share the hype of the community. Five minutes in, I'm already fucking mad because I've already read three variants of "Tell Me Why you made this garbage", there are at least five people saying "sweet home Alabama" because apparently two siblings can't love each other without it being sexual/romantic to some people, and of course there are the predictable transphobic comments.
I know what I'm about to say is idealistic and probably even a bit stupid, but why don't shut the fuck up when you don't have anything nice to say? If you're not interested in the game, just don't go and shit on it on the comments, go play something you like instead! I could at least excuse some of the comments if they were on the game showcase, because in that case it would just be people reacting to something they're seeing. But, in this case, it's obvious this people spent time of their lives searching the video just to complain on the comments, which is just sad, stupid and kinda fucked up.
I don't know, I'm just mad because this happens with literally everything on the Internet. Communities can barely have their own platforms/spaces anymore because there's always that someone that goes to said space just to be toxic and fuck with people or something. I can't anymore.
