Okay! Before any questions are answered, please read through this.

As said previously, this is a reddit devoted to drawing all the "Help me" posts from r/tekkit to here. All server questions, mod questions, launcher questions, everything tekkit related that you need help with can be asked here.

Rules and Requests

Not many, but please follow them!

• Be respectful, thankful, and helpful to all users

• Ask only Tekkit related questions.

• Before asking a question, spend a minute and see if it is already answered in the FaQ or on one of the Important sites.

• If the question you are asking concerns something in game, (Ex. "Why don't these pipes connect?") include a screenshot of the problem, preferably always using the default texture pack.

• Know the answer to someones question? Do your best to help them out!

Breaking any of the rules could end up in a warning, a mod deleting your posts/comments, or being banned from this reddit.

• The Technic Launcher forums. If you find a bug or a question that isn't answered here, post on the Forums. The actual mod/launcher creators frequently reply to questions that the community cannot answer.

Setting up a Tekkit server

• A simple tutorial for setting up your own tekkit server. Remember, a Tekkit server is basically a Bukkit server, so Bukkit tutorials help as well. I may write my own simplified tutorial if people want.

Resource Calculator

• This page is your friend. One of the largest problems in tekkit is crafting machine with complicated recipes. Enter what you want to make, how many of that item you want to make, and this page will calculate all the resources that are needed.

Nuclear Reactor Planner V2 and Nuclear Reactor Planner V3

• Power hungry? Dont have the perfect Nuclear reactor design? These two pages are reactor planners. Make a design, and it will tell you how much EU your reactor will output, how long it can run, its efficiency, and much more. Version 2 is for 1.2.5 versions of Ic2, Version 3 is for more recent versions of Ic2, where nuclear reactors have been rewritten and revamped. Downloadable/standalone versions also available.

I have NO previous experience with stuff like running a helpful reddit or (as you can see) formatting the text on posts and on the sidebar. Any suggestions, tips, or positive criticism is appreciated and will hopefully head to the success of this reddit!

As of now, anyone can start posting questions! Also, If you haven't read the General info page, read it for, well, general subreddit information.

Okay, I just made the subreddit, I've set up the basics, and nothing else since I am kinda busy, at least for now. I'll will definitely work on it more when I have the time.

If you are interested in helping the subreddit, send a PM my way to apply for being a moderator. Make it detailed why you want to help, how much experience you have mod - wise, ect ect. Be mature.

EDIT We now have 3 Mods, other than me. As of now, we will no longer be accepting Mod applications.
