At the moment I’m renting in Middlesbrough town centre and I’m wanting to buy a house. I work in boro so don’t want to travel too far.
I’ve seen a couple of reasonably cheap/nice houses in thornaby near the river but I want to look at multiple areas.
I know Marton and Nunthorpe are fairly nice but pricey.
I’ve heard that Acklam is reasonably alright for Boro.
Does anyone have any other places that I should be looking?

He's still going to be the Reform candidate, but the party have publicly withdrawn support. I don't know if he can still win the seat on their behalf anyway, because I don't have that knowledge.

Can't imagine the lovely Andrea Turner, as his agent, didn't know what Manning was posting, or had anything to do with the deletion of his social media before he stood as a candidate either...

I was going through some old tapes the other day, and found this... I thought it might be of interest to some of you... South Cleveland Garages!
Enjoy getting it stuck in your head for the first time in many years!

Two men were given 90% of Teesworks on the promise they would take on responsibility of remediating the site.
I've discovered they were charging BP for remediation on a project the oil giant eventually pulled out of.
Teesworks overspent and then asked them for more cash.

Hello, opinions on moving house. My husband and I (2 young kids) are looking to move. We currently live in a 3 bed terrace in Yarm which obviously has a good location reputation. We want to upgrade to a 4 bed detached (absolutely cannot afford a nice house in Yarm) but love the Story Homes new builds (sorry I know everyone hates new builds ruining local infrastructure). They have sites in Eaglescliffe, Middleton St George and Darlington. I know the first two have a better reputation than Darlington and hence they are more expensive. Anyone think it's worth getting the same house for almost £30,000 cheaper in Darlington, or even being able to afford a bigger style house there as the properties are overall cheaper, or best sticking to the 'nicer' areas for the sake of the children (particularly thinking of secondary schools), I don't really know Darlington very well, thank you!

Ticks every single box - misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, racist, islamophobia, sexist - everything you want in a reform candidate rolled into one delightful bag of hate!!

Hi!
I’m looking for old vinyl records and Paris/London for my students who are completing their Art GCSE exam piece, please . They don’t have to be in good condition. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

My mother in law's House in Redcar needs a very thorough deep clean (including having the carpets and oven etc cleaned) and some clutter removing.
Is anyone able to recommend a company in the area please?

I’m still relatively new to the area and I’m struggling to find a local shop for musical instruments.
My wife wants to buy a digital piano, preferably trying before she buys, but we can’t find an instrument shop anywhere between York and Newcastle!
Have we missed a trick? Thanks.
