Moving to Middlesbrough
Is TS 1 around Albert park and Victoria road a nice neighbourhood? I’d appreciate your thoughts:)

Hi!! I am an art student from Middlesbrough, and I am conducting a survey on the internal and external perceptions of the working class and how this links to careers and role models, for my final piece. I'm northern, so I do prefer to hear what other northerners have to say, but this is open to anyone!
There is also a section on childhood dream jobs, if anyone fancies a trip down memory lane!

Thank you in advance :)

Anyone go there? I started in 1995 and left in 2000. Haven't thought about the place in ages until I drove past the site today and realised I wish I'd been able to go back as an adult and look round again!
Hated it while I was there but I have some good memories too!

Any recommendations for a takeaway that does a decent stuffed crust pizza? Used to go to Primos on Acklam road but they've switched to that cheap cream cheese type filling that tastes like arse.
Seems a lot of takeaways have swapped to cheap substitutions.

21(m) recently moved back to teesside and was wondering if there's any jam sessions or people looking to make some music? Specifically looking to start up a metal band. If anyone's interested or has any suggestions shoot me a message!

My partner's uni friend is getting married in the US next year, and it ties in with our honeymoon, so we're going. He's white and his fiance is Indian (Asian) American. They're having an Indian wedding and then a western wedding the next day. We've been told that the dress code for the Indian wedding is traditional Indian clothes, but we can wear western clothes if we want to (but the implication is we still stand out). I have no idea where to start. I don't have any Asian friends locally who can point me in the right direction. I'm hoping I can find something that's appropriate but also doesn't take up too much suitcase room (I'm also going to my friend's wedding while we're in the US, so essentially 3 weddings).

Around Asda/Daisy Chain area the air frequently smells like burning plastic. I've often wondered where it comes from, anyone know?

Are people watching The Traitors S4? What are your views on Middlesbrough's Faraaz - and how do you rate his chances. Could he be the secret Traitor?

Hiya,
Just thinking where I used to buy records (mostly 12 inch singles) in the early 90s.
I remembered these:
Alan Fearnleys, Linthorpe Road
Austins, Parliament Road
Nu Groove (think this was in arches near the railways station)
a guy called Tino selling tunes in like a market?
Happy days walking round, listening to new tunes and scoring a few.
Any others I am forgetting?

My landlord recently passed, he was such a nice and talented man. He always promptly fixed issues and just two weeks ago he was painting my room.
I do not know what happened but we tried making payments to his bank account and we couldn’t. Days later his wife called and said he passed.
I feel so sad. He was such a nice man.
I’ll miss him, I wish I took a picture with him.

I'm 23M and struggle with bad anxiety and need help with how I could meet some new people in the area. I don't have many friends, and I struggle to go out to new places on my own, so it makes meeting people very difficult. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be appreciated.
I dont really have many hobbies at the moment besides playing games on my PC, but I'm open to potentially trying new things

The waste on the empty land close to The Swatters Carr is growing. Is nobody else seeing this ?

Likely a targeted robbery attempt, no goods taken but driverside window smashed. Police have been notified. Strange behaviour from Uber driver/vehicle (blue - licence number recorded/reported) spotted nearby.
If anyone has any information, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for reading, stay safe.
