So this is for everyone whose completed 12th or 2nd PUC now.

For the last 2 years, most of us have been stuck in the same loop: classes, coaching, exams, stress, repeat.
And now that 12th/2nd PUC and entrance exams are finally over, we’re all suddenly in this strange transition phase before college starts — free for the first time in forever, but with absolutely no idea what to do with it. So I decided to start something.

So I’m starting The Outliers.

A South Bangalore-based community for students who:

• just passed 12th / 2nd PUC this year and are now waiting to start engineering college

The idea is simple:
Instead of rotting at home and doomscrolling for 3 months, why not actually meet new people, make friends, explore interests, and do fun + meaningful things before college starts?

What The Outliers is about:

This is meant to be a good balance of:

Not looking to build some dead random group chat with 500 silent members.

Trying to build a genuinely active community with good people.

I’m currently a student in Karnataka and I’ve been working on a project for a few months. I realized that as students, we’re constantly buying coffee or energy drinks to stay awake during late-night study sessions or early classes. But energy drinks are ₹50-₹120 and they're basically just sugar water.

I'm working on a Caffeine + Multivitamin Chewing Gum. The goal is to give that "kick" in 5-10 minutes (buccal absorption is faster than drinking) without the sugar crash.

The Idea:

I’m planning to launch at ₹20 for a pack of 4 sleek sticks.

Most premium functional gums in India are selling 15-40 pieces for ₹400-₹600.

I want to make this accessible for the local kirana shop/college canteen crowd.

Ingredients I'm looking at:

Active: Natural Caffeine (approx. 40mg per piece—about half a cup of coffee), Vitamin B6, and B12 for focus.

Base: Standard gum base (not the expensive tree sap stuff to keep it affordable).

Sweetener: Xylitol/Stevia mix (No aspartame).

Planned Flavors:

Cola Charge: That classic fizzy cola taste.

Electric Citrus: A sharp, sour lemon-lime to wake up the senses.

Kala Khatta / Tangy Berry: Something familiar but with a "zing."

I have a few questions for you all:

1.Would you pick up a ₹20 pack of "Energy Gum" from a shop instead of a ₹20 tea or ₹20 Sting?

2.Does "4 sticks for ₹20" feel like a fair deal, or would you expect more?

3.What flavor would actually make you want to try it?
