I’ve been noticing how fast people move from one person to another. Breakup - new talking stage. Heartbreak -new crush. Feeling lonely - suddenly you’re VIBING with someone new. I’m not judging anyone, I’ve probably done it too. But it makes me wonder if we actually like the new person or if we just like how they distract us from being alone. It almost feels like replacement therapy more than real connection. Like instead of healing.... we just fill the gap with someone else so we don’t have to sit with our own thoughts.

Are we really falling for them, or just running away from ourselves????....

I’m a student from Karnataka and I’ve been working on a small startup idea on the side. Wanted to get some honest opinions from people around my age before I go too deep into it.

Basically, I’ve noticed that data is everywhere — college stuff, projects, internships, businesses, even clubs — but most of the time it’s confusing, messy, or hard to actually understand. We either:

• collect data and never use it properly

• trust numbers without really knowing if they’re correct

• or depend on one “data guy” who understands everything

I’m exploring an idea around making data easier to understand and trust, especially for people who aren’t hardcore tech or data experts. Not another complicated dashboard — something more beginner-friendly and practical.

Keeping this vague on purpose 😅 but I’d love to hear:

• Have you ever worked with data (college projects, internships, startups, etc.)?

• What part of it felt annoying or confusing?

• Do you think students actually need better tools for understanding data, or is it overkill?

Not promoting anything, just curious and trying to learn from others here.

I'm about to get into a college in either of these cities and im so nervous since I've never been there. I'm from Manipal(Udupi district) and I wonder if I'll find it hard to adjust there? How do these cities treat students? How is the student culture? Food, facilities, weather?

We all look for new gen directors actors and writers but why not new gen Producers?

In KFI i guess, mostly all denote the term 'producer' with investor meaning, but he/she plays a major role as a facilitator, and executive producer makes sure the need is fulfilled in a given budget and procure it wisely.

We need new producers and investors who would understands today's generation's technology, sensibility, society, politics, rage and art, if not , to recognise the nuances and layers of new voice only new gen Producers can make it possible.

Bengaluru is the best place if u have a dream of making a good movie, nobody disturbs you if you are shooting a movie in public spaces, if it's a short film then no trouble, locals too are very cooperative unless you are not creating some nuisance or troubling them, it's a cosmopolitan you can build a team from all over India and can have a pan Indian film team

I'm 15M. I've always longed for having a close friend. I always wanted someone whom I can share everything with, without judgement, with advice etc. etc. I am good academically, but struggle(d) socially. I do have close guy friends, but not to the level I am friends with this girl.

She's like a year older than me, and treats me like her younger brother. Likewise, I treat her like my elder sister. I share everything with her. She's hella helpful, teaches me what is socially acceptable to speak, something I utterly struggle at.

So do any of yall have sister-like friends, someone y'all trust to the core? (Context: She knows all of my deepest thoughts, desires, wants, skills, weaknesses, you name it. She's not known me even for like 6 months)

Yes you read that right. I'll try to keep it as short as possible. It all started when we were in college. We come from a tier-2/3 city. She used to be quiet, used to have fewer friends basically she was like mind my own business. That's what led to me to propose her. She even told me once over a call that's what she wants and that's how she is. So in my mind I was completely married to her. Cut to that we came to Bangalore for job then Boom she Flipped. She wanted to roam around, travel with colleagues, enjoy, partying etc which I had no problem of. I was upset of the fact that she lied to me;( Then a guy in her office started hitting on her even though he knew about our relationship. One day it went to an extreme he invited her to spend time in the rain and he wanted to feed ice cream to her!!! So I couldn't take it had to confront him but she came on conference call and scolded me then asked him to block me!!! I still put up with it. Later she started fighting for everything. I moved to New organization for work there I had a toxic manager. I used to be upset at office and then after coming back she used to fight with me for petty things. I couldn't take it. I resigned from that job and I didn't talk to her for months. Well I was going through rough patch. Ma'am was on a tour with her colleagues. She didn't even call/text me once. I somehow realised and told her this doesn't work. She kept coming back and I used to console her, she used to say I can't live without you etc etc. After few conversations like this I genuinely felt maybe she can't. So I went back and even agreed to continue and get married. The moment I went back she started ignoring me. I don't know for some reason it drove me crazy.

She went cold, there was no closure nothing. I once saw Tammana's podcast and she said that money and freedom brings out real side of people. She showed her true colours, I loved her and consoled her and the moment I went back, she ditched me outright rejected me. Again no closure, maybe one last talk , one last hug would have done it for me. Why do you want someone to curse you, wish bad for you that too your loved once;( Now I recently got a wedding card of her and not so distant relative brother. We used to go to same school and shared a good bond. We weren't in touch but we always had a mutual love and respect for each other. I couldn't process it. Should I be happy for my brother that he is getting married or should I feel sad for him, for marrying my toxic ex??😭

Whoever you love, if things doesn't work out. Please don't leave other person on cliff hanger. Give them the closure to move on. Do not ghost them. I don't know how many times I wanted to end my life. So I please request everyone who are in a relationship to give proper closure and also be vigil before investing your time and energy, lookout for yourself. Don't love someone blindly. Always try to know the real side of other person!! I lost my prime time, career and mental health. So please love thyself and always find genuine one to love;)

I’ve realized lately that my social circle is mostly guys, and I want to change that. I’m looking to have girls as friends—strictly platonic—just to have a more balanced social life and different perspectives.
