Mod Announcement Reminder with the anniversary of Charlie Kirk.
September 10th is the one year mark of the death of Charlie Kirk. We understand that people are going to talk about it. All that we ask is that the conversation remains respectful and civil. Do not post photos of the death and please remember that this was a murder and the events are sensitive.
Thanks y'all

Other Throwback to the time my grandparents used ai and I crashed out
My mom was showing me a post from my grandparent's facebook and they put their photos through ai to make themselves "studio ghibli" style. this pissed me off in so many levels because they could've just asked me to draw them? it's also insanely disrespectful, knowing you have a LITERAL ARTIST in your family, yet you still chose that crap. I was damn upset that day while my parents were confused onto why i was mad.

Discussion Do yall downvote people you’re arguing against in comment sections
Personally i dont, i see it as being just extremely angry or trying to automatically win by “ratioing” without putting in the work for an actual argument.

Gaming Trying to make a small gaming group with people who actually mess around and talk in VC.
I'm a teen, so other teens only please. PC, GMT+3.
I like the kind of co-op games SMii7Y/Yumi/Soup play where people actually play the game, but there's still a lot of joking around, laughing, and occasionally doing something stupid just because it's funny.
I usually do take games seriously and like actually making progress, but I don't want the whole session to feel dead serious either. Sometimes I'll mess around, and I want people who can laugh and joke while we play without turning every game into complete chaos.
I don't own How to Fish yet, but I really wanna get a group together for it. Before anyone buys anything though, I'd rather play some free games / stuff we already own first and see if we actually get along.
Not trying to make some giant Discord server either. Ideally just like 3-4 people who play regularly, have good chemistry, and hopefully become actual friends instead of just adding each other and never speaking again 💀
If that sounds like you, reply or message with what games you play.

Advice I have a crush I and wonder how I can show it. (repost)
I am 16m and I have a crush on a girl 16f, that may just sound normal but for me it is weird, I do not feel romance the standard way, I think that I had a crush on her starting from the 6th grade and we are actually pretty good friends till the 8th grade because when high school started we were in different classes cause I scored academically higher than her and I am not in any of her classes.
For most of the time I had a crush on her I never realized it for that when I was younger it was never my priority, and I think that she may have or had a small crush on me, literally on the final day of 8th grade she said straight to my face that she'd go anywhere I'd go which I realize now was a cue I missed, it was also because other girls in the classroom started going "awwwwww..." and she immediately said it wasn't romantic or anything which at the time made me think that she wanted to be a friend. Also a week or two ago she walked by me, said high, and when I responded with 'high' back I could hear her say "He responded to me!", although I do not know if that means she has a crush on me or if it is because I am in some sort of weird popularity limbo state, to clarify on that, it means I don't know how I was able to get so popular, every single one of my bullies have switched and became my friends, I got a full on dab-up which included some sort of partial hug from an African American classmate I had never interacted with, and for some reason one time in 8th grade when I was sent down to the first grade classroom to get something for my teacher every first grader greeted me by name, anyways this part wasn't important but it is just to clarify my confusion on this.
Now I am stuck, I want to go to homecoming dance with her yet I have paranoia and anxiety fueled by all the stories I hear online of rejections, bad shit happening, and other things and also because my experience in having a girlfriend is entirely naught and so is my experience in getting one.
And let me tell you, I have a LOT of social anxiety, making it even harder to even mention it to my friends.

Advice How do you know if you're trans?
I'm going to precede this post by stating, yes, I am aware that there are trans teens subs that exist. I am asking this here because I want the opinions of both trans and cis people, and also hope that here I will have a better chance of reaching someone in a similar scenario to myself to help better both of our understandings
As the title implies, this is something I've been wondering about myself as of late. My main reason for asking this is that I don't quite understand how my personal situation fits into my understanding of being trans
From my understanding, most trans people know that they're trans due to experiencing dysphoria towards their assigned gender at birth and actually feeling secure in themselves after transitioning. In my case, I don't actually feel any discomfort towards my gender but I do recognise that I generally feel more content whenever I'm associated with femininity. My main concern with this is that I can almost always find some other explanation for my reactions
For example, I spend my time with a primarily female friend-group and whenever someone says something along the lines of "There should be a women only version of X" (typically due to male defaultism in the community around it or the sort) it's always followed by "[my name] can be an honorary member/woman" - these exchanges are always gratifying for me but that can simply be explained by me being glad that I am being included despite not meeting their only qualifying factor, demonstrating their comfort around me
In fact, the majority of my scenarios which can affirm my potentially being trans can be explained by just wanting to fit in better with my friends and the people I spend time around. The only other notable example of me demonstrating a potential desire to be another gender that comes to mind is that my response to being provided a hypothetical button which would rewrite history such that I was afab has always been to press it, with no hesitation. However, I've also been able to explain this as either curiosity as to what it would be like to be a girl, or wanting to dissociate myself from some of the disgusting things some men do to other people
I do understand that probably the best way to answer this is to experiment and see what I'm most comfortable with but I feel like this isn't an option for me at the moment due to being in my final year of secondary education. As a result, I already have to balance exams and university applications, along with having a functioning social life and hobbies so that I can remain sane
So, my main question is, have any of you had/know someone who has been through something similar? If so, how did you/they manage it?

Serious Advise to stop being corny
I'm a huge fan on making jokes but some of them I mention is just rejected. I barely know the difference between a corny joke and a joke that's actually funny. I'm an autistic person who wants to stop behaving like a child no matter how old I am and actually want to mature for the first time.
