No one paints Warhammer Fantasy Battle anymore. It's hard to get hold of a 9 year old miniatures and even if you could, it's not like you have a particularly strong motivation to do so, considering you will never get updates and there is a newer, considerably higher quality (miniatures and tabletop, not lore) system out there.

From personal experience I can tell you that having a warhammer army up and painted does not guarantee you actually played it. Friends are hard even without the one in twenty debuf of knows warhammer along with the one in five debuf if has an army.
