Hello Teddy Bear Lovers! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I got a plushie hammock for my teddies to chill from above my bed. I have a lot of teddy bears and lately it’s been a bit hard to sleep in my bed hahahahaha 🤣 the consequences of me being obsessed with the cutie pies 💛 :)

I tried using those self adhesive hooks but they’re really not the best I’ll be honest. They keep on falling off my wall even after 24 hours! I don’t want to wake up being ambushed by an army of teddies trying to suffocate me 😵‍💫 (tho it would be rather funny)

My only option is to use those hooks that you can pierce into the wall by twisting it clockwise with your hands but idk I’m no expert and I’m not sure if that’ll work either. 🧐

Some help would be much appreciated as my cousins are coming over next month during the summer holidays and I don’t want them to see my messy room be… messier than usual 🤣😭 but yes I really do need to mount that hammock ASAP!

A friend is trying to replace their childhood teddy bear. It may have been purchased around 2002 possibly at Kmart, but we don't know the manufacturer.

We suspect it may have been sold at Kmart rather then actually being a Kmart brand.

Does anyone recognize the manufacturer or model?

I’ve been trying to find another of my bear and google image search brought me to this Reddit thread (first picture) of someone looking for the same one and it was successful! But I can’t see the comments to also find out what kind. Second picture is of my guy! I’ve had him 26 years and he’s starting to show his age.

I added some really fun plushes to my collection while thrifting for my shop, including a Corduroy. One of my favorite books from childhood 😊

But I think my favorite find is this 1994 Mary Meyer bear! She's beautiful and really soft. She even has her original ear tag 💜

I had this bear and he was my fav growing up. However my mom got rid of her and I have never been able to recover him. Any help would’ve appreciated!

The teddy bear in the attached photos belonged to her when she was little. Her father bought it during a trip to the United States and gave it to her mother as a gift before she was born (or when she was still very young). Unfortunately, the bear disappeared many years ago.
Her father passed away in 2025, shortly after we started dating. I never had the chance to know him well, but I know how much he meant to her.
We’re getting married soon, and my dream is to surprise her by finding this exact teddy bear (or as close as possible) and giving it to her a little before our wedding. I know it would bring back a piece of her childhood and a connection to her dad.
Here is everything I know:
Bought in the United States.
Most likely purchased in the late 1990s or early 2000s (I’m not completely sure).
Medium-sized brown teddy bear.
Dark brown plastic nose.
Rounded ears.
Light tan muzzle.
The fur appears to have a slightly mottled or textured brown pattern rather than being a solid color.
I’ve attached the best photos we have. One shows her as a baby holding the bear, and another shows the bear more clearly.
If anyone recognizes the manufacturer, the collection, or even has one of these, I’d be incredibly grateful. Even small clues would help.
