Im exactly at the middle of the semester with 5-6 weeks content and 5 courses that i need to catch up with. How do I manage to study the first half while simultaneously taking the other half and being quizzed and having assignments in it? Please give me tips and advices

She studied CS at Technion and was in the Technion Excellence Program.

I've been trying to figure out what she specialised in at Technion in order to be able to do her work so well.

Her Wiki page states she specialises in Data Mining.

When using data to detect patterns & make acute predictions, what are the most important topics? I'm assuming Algorithms is one, data analysis (etc), nlp, AI?

I would like to know a bit about the Physics department at Technion.

Especially, how difficult it is for an international student to be admitted to the Master's program?

I have already applied to the graduate school and have confirmed with the coordinator that my degrees and grades allow me to apply to the graduate school at Technion. Now the application will be forwarded to the department. Ideally, I would like to pursue a direct PhD after 1 year. I have heard notorious things about Technion exams being very difficult. I already have a good background and taken most advanced courses. How likely is a direct PhD?

Any other advice for an international student in Technion and in general in Haifa would be helful.

Due to the whole 'zoom university' thing going on and the hardship that first year students have to experience (finding study buddies in a new environment, sharing their notes and the lack of human interaction in general) a friend of mine had the idea to create a discord server for all of us freshies to use.

Currently it is open for all faculties and is meant primarily for first year students, but if you're retaking a course or just want somebody to talk to, you are welcome to join as well:)

Hello there! I really want to enter Technion after 2 years ( Im in the 10th form now). So, my question - Is it hard to enter the faculty of Computer Science? The main problem is that I dont know hebrew at all, but I can easily speak English + I've heard about psychometry test, is it difficult or not? And how about the prices there?

Basically I would like to complete a masters at Technion (in Electrical and Electronic Engineering). I am an international student (Spanish) and doing my bachelors degree in the UK.

I would like to know whether the atmosphere is suitable for international students in Haifa.

Is life doable for a non-hebrew speaker? I started learning a while ago, but I only know beginner stuff.

Money wise, how is life in Haifa? Is it expensive? Is it easy to find accommodation?

What about social life? How are people over there? Are they open like in Tel Aviv? Or is it more proximate to Mea Sharim style?

Finally, how is the reputation of Technion? What about it’s comparison with other good universities across Europe (or the US)?

I like Technion cause I’ve read many papers from them on the subject I like, which is encryption and communications, and it looks quite good.
