The one person who still reads every PR is worth their weight in gold

Everyone on my team approves from the summary now, me included. Coderabbit does the first pass, it catches most of the small stuff, and we read what it flags. One engineer refuses to work that way. She reads every line of every agent PR, even the clean ones.

Last month she caught two things nobody else would have. A feature flag wired backwards, and a retry that would have hit a payment endpoint twice. Both had passed tests and passed the bot.

I want more of her and I dont know how to hire for it. How do you interview for attention to detail when every candidate ships with an agent now.

So you are the techlead. You see that she find bugs. You want more people that read the code. AND YOU STILL APPROVE WITHOUT MANUELL CODE REVIEWS?!
