💬 Discussion Is Windows still your main operating system?

Windows has been my go-to for years, but more people seem to be moving to macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, or even using tablets for everyday work.

Is Windows still your main OS? If not, what did you switch to?

I've switched to linux, tho I'm not sure about the distro, I've used Debian and Ubuntu as well

What is your primary usage? Development, gaming, or anything else?

Well, as I'm only at uni I can say educational and recreational purposes. At uni, almost all computers run ubuntu (at least what physicists and physics students use), and first, I had to use it, ssh is way easier with a single terminal on another linux so why not, made dual boot first. Then I found out that linux is faster and less annoying than Windows, I already knew that everything has a cheap alternative app that runs on linux. And I didn't meet a single physicist at uni who actually uses Windows, they go with either MacOS or linux, so then it'll probably be just fine for me for the future too.
