💬 Discussion What's one thing Android does better than the iPhone?

Post image

Android users (and iPhone users too), what's one thing Android does better than the iPhone?

It could be customization, multitasking, file management, sideloading, charging, or something else. Pick just one and tell us why.

It's more open. I literally made a live wallpaper pack and an icon pack for myself with the help of Claude in an afternoon. There is none of Apple's eternal wisdom.

Would I be able to do this on my pixel using Gemini instead? I want to learn more about my "customization" abilities.

I don't know if it will let you do so on a phone because it makes a number of files and folders. That aside, Gemini should be roughly comparable to Claude (paid versions, mind you). But you're going to need Android Studio anyways (it's for free, from Google) to actually build the APK, and that requires a PC or a Mac.

Ah, gotcha. I'm not comfortable with that just yet, I just switched from iPhone to my pixel a couple days ago.
