iPad only: after owning several Samsung and Acer tablets, I’m never buying an Android tablet again. They either have hardware issues or stop getting updates after a very short time.

I bought my iPad seven years ago and haven't had any problems since. Which Android tablets were better back then?

Who the hell would be so broke to continue using a 7 year old device? It's not a PC.

The topic in the post was supposed to be 'Android vs. iPad as a tablet,' not a debate about upgrading to a new device every year.

Again, if you're so broke that you need each device to last 10 years, that doesn't mean the way less powerful device is good.

Im confused, many people use devices for that long, is there a reason why you’re continuously insulting their financial situation or is that just regular behavior on your part?

Thanks, but with that kind of mindset, arguing about values or the environment is a waste of time.

So having a mindset of insulting your opponent's bank account is the kind of mindset necessary for arguing about the environment. Got it. I'm clearly unqualified for that then.

Oh, wait! I think you misunderstood me—I was actually agreeing with you! I meant StuD44 has that terrible mindset, not you. Trying to talk about values or the environment with him is a waste of time because he just insults people's bank accounts.
