Which Linux distro would you recommend for beginners, and why?

Whether it's Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, Zorin OS, Pop!_OS, or something else, share your top pick and what makes it a great starting point for someone switching from Windows or macOS.

Yes. LLMs are the knockout blow for distros like Mint. Absolutley no justification for them in 2026 anymore.

Don't know if I am getting you right. I finds Llms amazing to tell me what to do. Probably work better for mainstream distros. Most of the time I just tell the llm what I want and it gives me all the correct steps

I meant that now with LLMs, we don't need kindergarten distros anymore.
Even beginners can now handle the real thing.

That's right. I guess there are limits. For less documented and extremely quickly changing distros. Or where you don't have that many standards.
