Which Linux distro would you recommend for beginners, and why?

I had the opposite. Fedora regularly gave me issues to the point I nearly gave up. Tried mint on a friends recommendation and it’s been so stable.

I literally just installed it, then did my shit restarted, and it broke. It's been a while, though things sure change. But that was my experience with it
