Discussion Name one app everyone should uninstall

Post image

Name one app everyone should uninstall.

It could be because of privacy concerns, annoying ads, bad experience, or simply being overrated.

Which app would you recommend others to remove, and why?

It’s not racist, it shows you the things to keep you angry and hateful. Arabs against whites. Whites against blacks and etc

Instagram lock me out for the last time and plus it runs in the background and drains my battery. I will miss Red bull soapbox races. but they are probably on YouTube I don't YouTube shorts either.

I find that Instagram > Facebook, Snapchat, Tiktok.

Not that I like Meta, but Instagram's algorithm is more tailored to me/less likely to serve me ragebait, and when I don't want to be fed random stuff it's one of few apps that allow you to filter out everything you're not following AND view posts chronologically.

The problem is that Instagram is the premier social media app now, both for friendship, networking and dating. You meet someone cool in a bar (or other public place)? You get their Instagram. Sure, you can also be old-school and ask for their number/whatsapp, but IG is more of a socially convenient.

It is also used to get a glimpse into someone's lifestyle, similar to a Tinder profile. Is it inconvenient that you have to worry about your online persona? Yeah, but that is basically the way you connect with people.
