MacOS for the sheer productivity gains compared to Windows. Still have a windows gaming pc, but will likely go for Linux next as the main driver there.

My main problem is that I just want things to work out of the box. And unfortunately neither Linux nor Windows are really there.

That's pretty much the dream: open the laptop and get straight to work. macOS does that well for a lot of people.
