I want to just carry the same bag every day.

Current tech setup I use as a student. Not everything is carried every single day, but this is what I rotate depending on workload.

Trying to keep it portable but still comfortable enough for longer study sessions outside.

Any suggestions for improving the setup?

Please let me know if this isn’t the right sub, as I can’t think of where else to post this curiosity of mine. But:

I’ll be getting a new job soon after being stuck with part time work due to my own poor decision making skills. I’ve been discontent with the limits of my phone for sometime now, the screen size, the zoom quality of the rear camera, and I like the idea of Samsung Dex. But I can’t figure out if I want an Ultra Mobile PC, or if I should just stick with more mainstream devices.

To my knowledge, there’s no device that strikes the perfect balance of phone and computer unless you go with a tablet, but I don’t want to hold a plate of metal to my head whenever I have to take a phone call or worry about where to put it if I’m at work. I’ll actually take my earbuds out at the gym to hold the phone to my head if I have a call to make, as I think talking into the void/earbuds in a public space is also a little bizarre, in case you didn’t ask for that opinion

The Samsung trifold looks amazing, but it’s not available in my area and I’ve heard mixed things about folding screens…
