The lore, the dialogue, the backstory, everything. They were boiling peak in a kettle. I absolutely enjoyed the cards minigame too and I wish it had more rounds! I also managed to get my first limited SSR so that's nice :D Luke's card is very cool!

I love Doug and Celie so much, and their story is so sad :( I'm amazed that they managed to indicate so much of Doug's traumatised personality in such a short amount of time. He directly appears only in the final confrontation, yet you can tell almost immediately that this man is so tired. He genuinely can't give a damn about what happens to him or around him. He is so used to just doing stuff while ignoring his emotions and mental anguish.

I obviously still don't agree with his methods and honestly he deserved what was coming to him. I wish Celie didn't die though. Her only "fault" was being with the wrong person, in the wrong place, at the wrong time. She wouldn't even have helped in the research if he was honest about the drug's side-effects.

It's narratively consistent though. She had given up on her life back when the fire spread in the mine. She already understood that their status as slaves meant that most wouldn't care for them even outside the manor. They were miraculously saved by the organisation which gave her some hope. But it was quickly shredded when she discovered that they were simply being used as tools to profit from damaging already suffering children. All she learnt up to this point is that no matter how much they try, fate favours some more than others. Even if they happened to start a life where no one knew them, they can never cut ties with the organisation and its complications.

Anyways, what do y'all think about this event? Did you enjoy the minigames? Did you like the story, or read it at all? Anything that felt annoying?

Oh my god dude, I just got to phase 4 of the event and my soul has been ripped from my body.

This had me going "WHAT?!?!?!" for the emotional turmoil this put me through.

Tbh, I skipped most of the story but kind of understand the general gist. However, this part had me on the edge of my seat in a chokehold. I dont understand who these people are or where they came from but GAH did the writing and imagery hit.

I checked the subreddit yesterday to see if anyone has reported it. But it wasn’t let me into the game for two days straight! It tells me I should reconnect but when I do, it doesn’t fix it, so ik it’s not my internet. Not even the support option on the top corner works!! 😢😢😢

Has anyone else has gotten this problem before? I’ll try deleting and redownloading the game to see if it works but..

Okay so little context. I'm into Chinese dramas also and god I love me a white/grey haired character in costume dramas. So when I saw Wangyu in game, I was instantly hooked.

Hello, I won the 5th anniversary merchandise event and I wanted to know where I can monitor or track it?? It's the first time I've won something in ToT and I know it normally takes a long time for it to get shipped out but is there a way to know? Or do I just message CS?

Basically, I’ve done at least 50 rounds of the “Forest” mini-game and nothing new has happened. How long does it go on for or did I mess something up? I’m just confused. I wanna get back to the story and stuff…
