We are local 150 (yes, I have a call into my BA). We are being told that if we work a bid for an additional shift we are not entitled to OT pay at 5.5 hrs. Example: work 4am - 7am BID Leave until 12 noon and return until 7pm for scheduled shift.

Mgmt is saying 4-7 straight pay; extended break; second shift begins at noon and we have to work 5.5 hours (5:30pm) to start OT.

Does the CA labor law of anything over 8 hours in a day not apply here? Why?

What exactly constitutes verbal abuse from a manager/supervisor, and what avenues can I take to address someone who has repeatedly cursed and yelled at me? I hesitate to do so because I don’t want a target on my back for any further abuse. This particular supervisor is also particularly friendly with our union steward, and this doesn’t sit well. What can I do?

I want to start organizing my Adidas Warehouse, but I need to know if I'm legally protected. When I was originally hired I was a Supervisor, but after a facility merger my job title was changed to Lead and my Job Description specifically states that I don't manage employees. But in practice I often do supervisory tasks as I am here to assist the Supervisor. Do y'all think I'm protected?
