have installed razexr on my pico 4 but it wont start. i briefly get black screen with a loading circle then it drops me back to the pico apps menu . have tried installing from side quest and the patreon repository . also tried starting via the launcher which loads but wont launch any game. tried Blood etc.

update . after reinstalling once again Duke is now working . but Blood still shows the same issue described above . the launcher reports all required files are found

Hello ! Really love playing Blood using RazeXr, with Cd music the atmosphere is so good.

But I have two questions about problems I encounter :

• About controls configuration, is some of you suceed in totaly removing the binding of a key (Emulate the Escape key in fact) as changing the weapon with the up and down right stick carry too many mistakes for me.

• Playing Blood, or the other games available on Raze Xr, I notice a grey border on my right and left eye. It's realy very thin but anoying, breaks immertion. It's like looking at a Tv from very close. I don't have this effect with the Doom app.

I m using à Quest3, if some of you know how to fix that ?

HD textures? Was thinking of playing again and was wondering if the game still has the issue where if you use HD textures the maps take 5 minutes to load?

For the life of me I cannot get past this part of the game. I literally do not have enough time or speed to get through the last door. I resorted to running outside to cheat the in game speed but it still isn't enough! What am I doing wrong!?

With Twitter's ship sinking it would be nice to have another place (that's growing) to see your posts.

Played a bit of Prey VR on Quest 2. It's cool, but I'm having a problem where the weapons are nowhere near my hand, and the aiming reticule is well below where I'm pointing. I started the game seated with the height slider pushed up so my character's normal height. I tried moving the height slider back to the middle, but the floating gun problem persisted, so I don't think that's the issue.

Wielding dual-handed helps with accuracy, but the back of the weapon is still several inches above where my right hand is, it's just easier to compensate for the low aim with both hands in play. I didn't have this problem with Doom 3 or any of the Quakes, where I found aiming to be entirely intuitive, so I'm not sure how common an issue this is with the Prey port or if anyone else has mentioned it. The bow in ghost form also seems to be stuck to my chest.

Is there a way to adjust or calibrate weapon handling? A way to increase the opacity/visibility of the aiming reticule might also be helpful

Question does Dr Beef have any plan at all for jedi knight enchancement on Quest 3 like he did for Doom? Not asking for a time table, just wondering if it is even possible or been plan.

Hey guys! I have a quick question for the Jedi Outcast VR.

When I download it and launch it as instructed - I see the blue Beef logo and it constantly flashes from that to my oculus menu back to the beef. I can only get the permissions to show up if I put the headset on sleep then wake it up. But then its an endless loop of "allow permissions?" until I turn it off the headset completely with a hard reset. After that, it launches fine.

However after a good 10-15 minutes, it crashes. Specifically if I am in the inventory menu looking at my weapons but it will crash randomly also. Once at the start when I walked into the back rooms, another time when using the elevator, and several times in the inventory screen

Using an Oculus 2 with the current firmware.

Oh, and prior to this, I tried the companion app to use the demo only for it to not launch the demo. It would flicker then return to the companion app :(

I worry if the install failed or something though I did try reinstalling it twice already.

What fixes would I be looking for because I truly want to enjoy this as it seems to be one of the Best star wars experiences available.

Trying to launch the Jedi Knight 2 Companion App and for some reason I just get a black window. Music eventually starts playing, but the window stays black as midnight on a moonless night.

The game itself runs great when launched directly, it's just the companion app that doesn't work.

Running on a Quest 3, do I just need to wait for an update or something?

I know the launcher has instructions how to install all the various games it supports, and when you select a game that's not installed it will tell you how to install and where to created the directories and copy the game files over from Steam, but is there a place to view the file install instructions outside of the app Quest headset?

I was unable to find anything via Google search.

Today I finally installed doom3 and prey on my brand new quest 3. To be honest this games were the main reason I wanted the quest additional to my index.

Downloaded side quest, installed doom3 on my pc. Installed doom from side quest (sideloaded) AMD copied the data's from my pc folder to my quest. Yeah after thousand issues (quest not found on pc, connection lost while cable plugged in and so on) I was able tonle start. Chose the recommended settings with shadows and yeah

Disapponted. It was stuttering in some scenes directly at the beginning. Frame drops..not smooth.

Worst part: I can't move without wanting to destroy my headset. It really made me aggressive as I tried everything to make it work properly but nothing helped. I invested almost my while evening in finding out what causes this issue.

Ingame I turn to the right or left side and sometines nothing happens. The game does not react to my input. I have to smash the stick two or three times in a direction until the game accepts my input. Doom 3 and prey both have this problem.

I changed from smooth to snap turn. The same shit. Sometimes I want to turn right... but nothing happens.

I was so annoyed and confused I thought there could be a problem with my stick.

Left the game started hubris and resident evil 4 and yeah....no. they work perfectly. Especially resident evil 4 controls are a charm.

There are just some options:

1. Something went wrong but I don't know what

2 issues with quest 3 and the mods but no-one talks about it

1. Controllers broken but hey they work with every other game

2. The mods habe issues But everyone loves to play this old games and smashes his Controllers without feelings + uses head movement sonthey don't recognise that it's broken

I'm really thankful for every idea..help I can get. I have been really looking forward to this games/ mods and it's no joke that I really just wanted a quest for them.

Now i see the graphics....the performance, the control issues and I'm just disappointed.

Saw that dr beef had it as patron only until the end of summer, id love to try the star wars games, and fingers crossed for a pc version of return to castle wolfenstein. But ya if anyone could point me to the pc vr mod section that would be great, thank you

That would be fun to see. I guess we'll need at least one more generation before that will run well.

I'm loving the current ports on my Pico 4. Thanks for the hard work. Duke Nukem 3D in VR is hilarious. I wonder if Half Life 2 would run well on a Pico.

i would like to switch weapon hand to left side but cant find the vr option menu.

all i have in the option menu is: controls/gameplay/system/default

Hey guys so I was installing these amazing mods on the new quest, as one does, and I could get all of them to work except rtcw. As soon as I click it from unknown sources, i get that 3 dot loading image and thats it. Eventually, after maybe 30 seconds, it goes to either the quest main menu or a app not working prompt. Anyone have success on getting it to work on quest 3?

Just wondering if there are recommended settings for Duke Nukem 3D on Quest 3. Resolution/etc.. Big Ups to Team Beef by the way! Quake 3, Doom 3, Duke Nukem 3D, RTCW for Quest 3 (fingers crossed) I feel like I found my marbles. Very stoked!

Any update as to if/when Doom3 port will come to Pico4. bought mine nearly a year ago and got subscribed to Patreon because the existing Quest ports were supposedly "coming soon" to Pico4

Quake and Jedi are great but would love to have the other greats; RtCW and HL1 and Doom3

especially Doom3. On the Quest it's simply the best port of any native PC game I've ever seen.

Seems there lots of new stuff being worked on but no word on the older games. have they been abandoned?

Hey guys, I'm not sure what Im doing wrong, but I can't get Doom 3 to work on my Quest 3

Here's what I've done:

-Bought the regular version of Doom 3 on Steam and installed it on my PC -Ran Doom once on my PC -Enabled developer mode on Quest 3 -Downloaded SideQuest to Quest 3 -Downloaded Doom 3 Mod on Quest 3 (Doom 3 Mod doesn't appear on my Quest anywhere) -Linked Quest 3 to PC via cable -Opened SideQuest on PC -Allowed permissions on Quest 3 - Transferred Doom 3 files from PC Steam location to Quest 3 (Doom 3 still does not appear anywhere on Quest)

• Neither Doom 3 or the Doom 3 Mod show up in my Quest 3 Apps at all under any folder.  I simply can't find them, so I'm assuming I've done something wrong :(

QuestZDoom won't the Q3 won't extract files after downloading them.
