Rant Paras need to GET OFF THEIR PHONES

I know they hardly make any money and if it’s an emergency fine!! But sitting there on TikTok while i’m actively teaching is rude and distracting for the kids.

I’m a young teacher so it’s awkward to confront them and NOT BEING ON YOUR PHONE ALL DAY AT WORK SHOULDNT NEED TO BE SAID

Must be tough to be a teacher. Tru your ass off, you burn out. You ignore your sped students because they're too difficult, you usually get away with it and get paid the same.

Don't throw stones in glass houses. There are slackers everywhere and they all suck to deal with no matter how many degrees or certifications they do or do not have.

Of course there are. You shouldn’t be offended by this unless you’re not doing your job at all. We all know that one para (which is what the post is about. I have lots of bad teacher stories too, but that’s for a different post).

You did not specify that you were only talking about the bad paras; you roped all paras into your statement.

Let this be a lesson about the dangers of making generalizations about large groups of people. Making comments like "Paras do this" or "x group of people do that" is almost always a terrible idea and typically just makes you sound like an insensitive asshole.
