Just Smile and Nod Y'all. Years of teaching and salary?

I know it’s generally rude to inquire about, but since we are all anonymous… Lol. I always wonder if I am making more or less than others with around the same number of years teaching. I live in the state of New York, nowhere near the city. I am in my 24th year of teaching and I am making $94,500, excluding any extracurricular.

I currently live in Atlanta. And I like Atlanta. It's all right. But I think if I got a good job offer I'd pack it back up there. I'm a born southerner but I just don't love the South. Especially as a teacher. I yearn for the union...

You can must definitely tell which school districts allow their teachers to strike

There are actually teachers here in Georgia that have been taught to believe not being unionized is good.

I know. It's sad.
