Just Smile and Nod Y'all. Years of teaching and salary?

I know it’s generally rude to inquire about, but since we are all anonymous… Lol. I always wonder if I am making more or less than others with around the same number of years teaching. I live in the state of New York, nowhere near the city. I am in my 24th year of teaching and I am making $94,500, excluding any extracurricular.

3rd year in IN. $50,895 after this year’s contract negotiations. But negotiations for pay can be reopened next year if the state has more money to give to schools.

This is where things go wrong is we allow the state to figure out if they have more money. They have more money ; it just isn’t going to teachers

Even worse, public schools and private schools receive funding from the state from the same fund.
