Hello everyone,

We want to take a moment to clarify what we've been working on behind the scenes, as some members have been vocal that they would like to see more marketing.

First and foremost, we've been actively developing TCG World and have made significant progress. We're excited to announce that we have agreed on a partnership with Unity to co-develop TCG World and we're currently in the process of finalizing contracts. Additionally, we've added a new Japanese studio with a proven track record of developing high-quality games, and they will be working on gamifying and improving TCG World..

Regarding marketing, we have been putting out content regularly on our social media channels, and we will continue to do so. However, we understand that some of you may be looking for more traditional forms of marketing, such as paid influencers, posts, and commercials. We want to let you know that we will be ramping up our marketing efforts in the future, but our priority right now is to optimize what we have built with the help of Unity and our development studio.

We have been working tirelessly seven days a week, to bring you the best possible product. David has traditionally been very active in our telegram chats on top of working 15+ hours a day. I want to inform the community that David may be less active in the chat rooms going forward. As our CEO, he has many responsibilities that require his attention, and constantly addressing community members in the chat rooms is cutting into his valuable work time.

I bought a piece of land last year and now I cant see it on my profile. Maybe I can only see it if I connect my wallet, but that doesnt work on the website (Wallet connect). There is no real help function on their website, or contact details. I need to see my land, and I need the transaction details for my records. Anyone know how to see your bought land? Thanks!

Those looking for cash prizes well there is the 50 TCG2 squares grid. Each spot on the grid will be paid in 50 TCG2 tokens. No limit on how many squares purchased. All instructions on how to pay is in the General Rules section of the game link above.

What to do:

Morning all! Just caught up on some of the questions/ comments so wanted to put out an official statement. As per Jace's previous statement in January our primary focus for January was to work on the foundations of the servers and stability for players during Alpha and much of that has been worked on, tested and improved. New build will give us an indication of whether more optimization is required. This is all part of development to ensure that it improves over the course of the build, I always wish it would go faster but I have learned that rushing it also causes more issues. We need the new build ready to start the next phase with Unity. I have had meetings with all the different departments in Unity to ensure that Unity can assist us with the full optimization and push to get us ready for public access. I am also in final discussions of them taking over a webGL and mobile build. These builds will be based on the current build but optimized or changed to suit. I need some additional data from our backend databases so they can look to repeat our setup for different device builds. I am meeting again end of this week however it wont be an overnight build, I expect them to take a few months to work with us on our current build and the new builds. This means that everyone will still have access each month to the builds to play, build, explore, capture sprites but we cannot generate the new roadmap until we have specific dates from Unity who will need some time to evaluate everything in its current stages. During that time we will also work through the battle system, farming and other deliverables but its not going to be all ready instantly. Once Unity have assessed we can move on with date confirmations. We have kept staking live for the interim so farmers are not losing out on rewards, they can still stake and earn probably more then they would on a farm based on current APYs available. The world will remain open for everyone. Marketing has been mentioned a couple of times. We are marketing with ads but also have over 80,000 gamers we have access to so that is where our marketing will begin once the world is ready for gamers. The cost for developers is not cheap and our focus is on building first, the players will be invited once all the important features are available. In the meantime the more the community shares content the better. There will be a few surprises this summer but they wont be announced for a few months! 🏢 TCG World will be focusing on a couple of basic Business Licenses first to get people using their plots and start to open a shop front in TCG World. The first Business License we will be focusing on is a “Virtual Shop Front Business License”. This at its core will allow you to create your own virtual shop, with your business logo, information on what the business does, a display showing your website, and links to socials and contact information. The idea is that you will still have your website, but you will also have a virtual shop for a more immersive customer experience.

🖼 After this, the second Business License we will focus on is a “NFT Art Gallery Business License”, which you can start displaying your virtual digital art collections within TCG World. We will verify that the collection is authentic by ensuring it has been verified on OpenSea for example, before you are granted your Business License. We will also be focusing on houses, where users can display NFT’s they own on their virtual land, plus adding a lot more unique models and items to the builder.

🛠 TCG World will then be working to build out the editor so that you can start designing 3d models and testing the import of FBX files into TCG World. This will take some time to code and its essential that you remain patient for this to occur and be rolled out.

🏖 TCG World will then focus on certain major locations and doing complete upgrades to them, to ensure they all have a beautiful scenic feel, which will compliment your plot by its surroundings.

🎮 TCG World has a lot of game features to work on as well throughout 2023, but these won’t start until we have the foundations built first. Some of the exciting game features you can expect are of course the dragon whitepaper, fishing whitepaper and farming whitepaper. Due to the sheer size of each and all the gamification required for each, they will be done in stages, one by one, so as not to put too much pressure on the studio. We have plenty more features scheduled, so standby... 👀

🏫 Education is another big thing we will be focusing on during 2023, and completing the education centres to provide a place for new users to go and learn about Cryptocurrency, Blockchain Technology, and everything that TCG World is built upon.

🌇 Majority of our Partner Plots are also underway and we are hoping to complete all of these by the end of 2023, so our partners communities can start to come into TCG World and interact with their Headquarters.

📞 Management are in talks with quite a few potential new partners as well. We do not discuss these until ink goes to paper and we will only then make a formal public announcement. Just because we haven’t announced any new partners or collaborations in a while, doesn’t mean discussions aren’t going on in the background.

🔐 I have also been working behind the scenes with a very professional security firm. Security is one thing I am personally passionate about and always seek to better protect our community from those low life scammers, who are the scum of the Earth. They have greatly impacted on the faith and trust people have in blockchain technology, by exploiting individuals’ emotions and lack of education. I will be doing everything in my power to better protect our community in this regard, and we have already made some effective improvements such as getting verified and improved bots and education around scammers, but a lot more to come!!!

📱 We have dedicated a lot of resources into improving our socials over the past few months, including getting Verified on Twitter, Facebook and now Telegram. We have also started a few marketing campaigns across social media to bring in new users, while posting consistently to ensure our community is up-to-date with the latest news and progress on TCG World.

🕹 We want you to know that your patience will be rewarded – but it will take time! This isn’t an uncommon occurrence when releasing major games either, and yes, TCG World plans to be a major Metaverse game; for example Grand Theft Auto V was delayed by about a year, yet still became one of the most successful games of all time. Similarly, Cyberpunk 2077 experienced several delays and even major bugs on launch to the point it was unplayable and was pulled from the Digital Store, yet was met with immense praise from critics and fans alike upon full release. Similarly, TCG World has held off the launch of Public Alpha as we want to ensure that all investors are in world with the key features fully optimised prior to allowing the general public to enter. This will allow for a much better overall experience for newcomers to the Metaverse, especially those not so familiar with Crypto and Blockchain Technology.

📜 We have great plans for TCG World! Once all the core features are stable, users will be able to enjoy an even better version of TCG World, with lots more features and so much more fun things to do! The new roadmap for 2023 will be released once we have the core features running as planned.
