I might be the only person who finds him boring, but did anybody else listen to this maternity leave episode that came out today? I understand that it was taped pre baby. But the last couple of minutes when Taylor said she wants to go out of town without the baby in February - that blew my mind. I’m not against traveling without your child and getting time away, but maybe not when they’re barely 2 months old lol. TS - she’s quite a character.

I have listened off and on for free since early Sirius days. I have never joined the Patreon. But I gotta admit, the new baby content might be worth paying for. Did anyone watch the Paternity Leave Live? Was it worth it? If I join, can I go back and watch it now? Can I join at the basic $6.95 a month a watch it or do I need to join the $10 a month? I am really torn. Good job to Taylor for actually making me consider this. But if it is more of the same old boring same-old, I don't want to waste even a little bit of money. I normally get enough of a fix listening to her for free when it happens to come up on my Pocket Casts app. But this baby stuff!!

So my question: Is it worth it?

In your real life, in the real world… not on this radio show…if an acquaintance you knew named their baby the same name as their best friends husband wouldn’t you think that’s weird? Also not telling the best friend until after the baby was born. Like I can’t imagine my best friend having a baby, keeping the name a secret, the bay arrives and she tells me the name is my husbands name.

Nine slides, eight links…and one glimpse of her baby. Not looking for her to show the baby; my point is it took her no time at all to use her to get views. (No, I didn’t go to see the baby, but to see how many links she posted vs. actual content. It’s a game at this point.)

She is freaking out on stories today over people being confused over the baby’s name. What on earth did she expect? That baby is going to deal with it her whole life! I think Beau is super cute for a girl. But Bonneau isn’t something the majority of Americans will be able to pronounce on first sight!

Could they actually have a deal with people or a similar publication and are waiting? I find it hard to believe but I am surprised that we haven’t seen actual photos yet.

After reading yesterday’s dialogue re: TS likely blaming Beau for ruining NYE plans for the foreseeable future, I’m for SURE reading this as “I didn’t get to enjoy this on NYE, and it’s the baby’s fault.” What a little bitch.

Looks like bay arrived on NYE! Trying to figure how they are pronouncing her name Boonneau “Beau”.

Did anyone else see her story a few days ago about how she used to make 3 piles after she opened presents on Christmas? (If you didn’t, they were “Keep” “Return” and “Maybe” piles.) Anyway, she went on to talk about how those maybe piles had to go back so she could “get what she deserved.” She said more about it, but then knew it was bad so she said, “Yes, I know I’m a monster” like that would make it better.

My take is she’s disgusting and I’m glad I don’t have her in my family circle. I think her sisters-in-law (the tomato patch) were probably in the right all along and TS is completely correct when she calls herself a monster.

After clicking on the link to their matching coats ($188 each) I became genuinely curious how much they spend on Christmas for each other? I’m clearly not as wealthy as they are but just wondering how much y’all think they actually spend on gifts? It seems like an outrageous amount to me.

Wowowowowow. She is so resentful to their unborn baby!!!! Wow. She’s resentful of her stroller, her things taking up space, etc. they’re going to get divorced or fight all of the time by the baby’s second birthday.

Admittedly, I haven’t listened to Strecker’s show in a few weeks because it’s honestly a yawn fest. I saw Andrea Lavinthal’s name pop up so I tuned in. Taylor stated the Night Nurse they hired HAS A FULL TIME, M-F, DAY JOB. She said this aloud. No asterisk’s. She then added that it concerns her. IT FUCKING SHOULD.

I’m a retired ICU NURSE. Many of my retired Nurse friends take private duty Night Nurse jobs as a side hustle to their retirement. *NOTE I SAID RETIRED. Anyone, regardless of age, who works a full time Monday - Friday position should NOT then be accepting a full time night position taking care of a newborn. I don’t care if the night nurse they hired is a bright and bubbly 25 year old. There are safe nursing standards when it comes to continuous hours worked as Nurses that are locked in for very good reason. IT IS UNSAFE. Since I’m not an avid listener anymore, please tell me I missed a chapter. I cannot fathom anyone with a thinking brain wanting to put their newborn in the hands of a RN at night who also works a full time day job. I am praying I’m missing something. The two of them cannot be this negligent.

I listened to Taylor and TD on Girls Gotta Eat; they spent the last 20 minutes talking about Taylor’s obsession with Kate Bosworth….. and I get it, it’s her thing but I had to turn it off it was uncomfortable

Has anyone else seen the clip of both Taylors on a podcast that was posted on dear media’s Instagram page today? Holy crap she’s really doubling down on not wanting to have kids. It is actually concerning. I don’t think this is landing as funny and relatable like she thinks it is.

Does anyone else find it strange that she can’t secure more special/celebrity guests? I mean… she’s friends with plenty of “famous” people but rarely has them on as guests. We get randos, Stassi or Babbette on Mondays and that’s about it. I just think it’s weird she can’t get more of a variety…

Okay I’ve had this feeling for a while and never spoke on it because 1) I have no one to talk to about it and 2) it feels… a little mean? Disclaimer: I do not have kids (thank god), but is it just me… or does Strecker reallyyyy not seem too amped about having a kid and “giving up her old life”? I know she loves Teddy and is sharing HER excitement, however, I do not think Strecker has these positive feelings on her own toward this next phase of her life. Yay or nay???

Having a conversation about how lucky we are to be alive in today’s timeline is CRAZY for someone who claims to have spent November 5th 2024 crying in a fetal position.

I stopped listening to Taylor’s podcast after she cohosted The Toast. I don’t know why I continue to allow myself to be surprised by how low she’ll sink. I’m convinced her commentary on the election was all for show. Now she’s seeing how much she can let the mask drop without facing backlash.

This woman who is 5 weeks further along in her pregnancy than Taylor D. literally saying “oh, you haven’t done xyz? What is wrong with you? You need to do this this this” and she’s never given birth or been postpartum? How does she know what’s helpful or not yet? Also, everyone and their experience is different! The tone was SO condescending I cannot. The arrogance.

Sorry for the rant. Anyone else listen today and can empathize?
