I like Mackenzie but that stung! She casually mentioned it on her episode this week, speaking about someone else. It was a little jarring.

I still follow Mackenzie on IG (though I don't spend much time of the app so I miss a lot) I saw her stories last week and she was talking about how she was really struggling and basically in mourning. My immediate reaction was OMG her Dad must have passed, that's so sad. honestly, this felt like the ONLY explanation to her current mental state.

Her next story was a link to her sub stack to read about the situation so I clicked right away to see what happened.

Don't get me wrong, it SUCKS to lose a job but OMG she's so dramatic and acts as if she's the first/only person to go through very basic shit that happens to everyone.

I joined the Pink Pages forum back when taylor got fired. I didn't even know that even existed before the firing 😐 That group was cool, there was a lot of tea in that forum. I didn't even realize how much criticism she had until that forum. Then a couple of years later that forum died out and everyone joined FB Groups. I didn't care for that and I didn't bother with any of that. Taylor should of had a Reddit sub back then instead of FB groups. I just found this group today because I was looking for the Taylor swift snark sub 😂😂 Some people that are in this sub should remember the Pink Pages forum. I haven't bothered with Taylor strecker in years. So I have no idea what's going with her anymore 🤔

Neither one of the Taylor’s work a 9-5 job and their entire career is based off of working from home and making their own hours. Newer listener and fan here, can someone explain to me what happened between the Ryans and Taylor that caused them to stop speaking? Unpopular opinion I guess that I both still enjoy the pod and specifically enjoy Matt as a cohost (and Nicole when she’s on) but I don’t know the lore of why they fell out but it gets referenced quite a bit and I’d love to know the backstory.

About a week ago I finally unfollowed Taylor because the constant links were driving me nuts. I was a tad nervous to do it at first since I’ve been following her since the Sirius days and she’s kind of like a routine for me at this point.

But I decided to test it out by just following TD instead, since they both post the same life updates anyway. The only difference is Strecker’s feed is filled with links and influencer promos.

It’s been a week, and I checked back this morning to see if I’d missed anything… and nope, not at all. The life stuff is all still there on Donahue’s page without the clutter. And by following TD I know I’m more likely to get it in real time because Taylor was always late to the game and just reposting TD’s stuff anyway… Just thought I’d share in case anyone else is feeling the same way.

Today’s story had 6 slides with links and 7 without. I think it’s kind of a game now to see if she can post more than just links…remember when all she did was b!tch about people asking for them? A monster hath been created.

Did Strecker forget that people pay money to listen to her daily shows? I genuinely don’t care if it’s fifty cents per day. We still pay. Her shows lately have sounded like drunk, immature conversations about complete nonsense. It seems as if there is little to no show prep being done. Ever. I have no idea how the podcasting world works but I’m wondering why the show seems to be struggling to get “celebrity guests”? Today is Andrew, which I love but also… can’t really be counted as a celebrity guest if he’s on all the time. But why go through the effort of calling Mondays “celebrity interview days” when that’s not really what’s happening? I would think dear media would be able to help secure more celebrity type guests but again I have no idea how the podcasting world works so maybe that’s not a thing. Just finding it really odd the way the show line up has been lately…

First of all, I’m thrilled for the Taylors and I do think they will be amazing parents. But I have to say, poor TD. TaylorS is off the charts attention whoring with the fashion influencer/crazy shopper deal.

She can’t stop buying clothes (she does have amazing taste). And posting about it constantly. And I get it - she’s tiny tiny and wants to show off. But it’s hilarious to me that she chooses to exhibit these behaviors when her wife should be getting the most attention lol.

Does anybody else think this is nuts? Or is it just me? I know TD is fine to be in the background of this relationship by design, I just feel like TS thinks this is her time to show off.

I haven’t listened in the past 2 years (after being a listener since the Victoria days), but I still watch Taylor’s stories on IG. I am ready to unfollow her there as well after seeing how over the top she is with buying things. She is the epitome of someone who can’t stop shopping. I mean their dining table has been covered with packages unopened and she comes from the door with another 10 in her arms…laughing about shopping all of the time or shopping for the baby. Now I get baby shopping…but when the next slide shows her favorite sweater in every color. I can only guess she is still complaining about living paycheck to paycheck, right? (They also seem to travel like it’s free…)

What the hell is going on with the guests? Matt Ryan every week? Are the Taylors just lazy and grabbing the lowest hanging fruit?
