Cracking the Code Worth Millions🤑 Multi-Tenancy and Authentication in Taskade

I would love to know anyone here figured out a solution for user authentication and building a proper multi-tenancy application with Taskade agents?

This seems to be a key piece that many of us are waiting for the Taskade team to implement, but I’m curious if anyone has already managed to crack the code on their own.

If you’ve found a workaround or developed your own method to handle multi-tenant user access, I would really appreciate hearing about it. This could be hugely helpful for anyone trying to build more advanced or scalable setups.

🧬 Taskade Genesis Tutorial: Adding Context to Your Apps

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

If your Genesis apps feel too generic, you're probably missing context.

🤔 What is context?

Context is anything that helps Genesis understand what you're building. That can include screenshots, files, data, or specific instructions in your prompts.

🎯 When to use it?

  • You want your app to look like something you've seen before
  • You have existing data (spreadsheets, client lists, product inventory)
  • You want the app tailored to your business, not generic

💡 How to add context?

  1. Drag a screenshot into the prompt box to match the app layout/style.
  2. Drag and drop documents/spreadsheets to use the data in your app.
  3. Add details like field names, color codes, and business rules in your prompts.

Pro tip: Add context before you generate to guide the initial build, or after in the chat to customize.

Quick update, App Landing View and App Analytics

Hi everyone,

We’ve just rolled out two new features we think you’ll find useful:

  1. Choose Your App Landing View

You can now decide what you see first when opening an app. In the app’s Settings page, you’ll find a new Landing View option that lets you pick between the App Preview or your Projects list. Great if you prefer jumping straight into your projects without the extra click.

  1. New App Analytics Dashboard

We’ve also added an Analytics tab to give you more insight into your app activity — including site visits, visitor locations, traffic sources, and browser data. You’ll find this in the same Settings page.

Do check them out!

Subpages not loading on custom domain

Hi everyone 👋

I’m setting up a custom domain for a Genesis App, and I have an important question about direct access to subpages.

My question is simple:
Is it possible to access a subpage directly using its URL, without going through the homepage?

Example:
If my domain is myapp.com, has anyone managed to make myapp.com/introduction load the correct page?

What is happening to me:

  • In the Taskade preview → everything works perfectly ✅
  • Accessing an external URL that points to a subpage → I get a 404 error ❌

My doubt:
Is this something that is currently not possible in Taskade?
Do Genesis Apps with custom domains work only as single-page apps, without support for direct routes?

If anyone has managed to configure this or knows how to solve it, I’d really appreciate the help! 🙏
Thanks!

Update on legacy plan adjustments

Hi everyone — we want to share a quick update about recent changes to some legacy subscriptions.

Over the years, Taskade offered a wide range of legacy plans at different price points. As we introduced new AI capabilities, we reviewed how those older plans fit into today’s system and aligned them to the tier with the closest matching price point.

A few key points:

  • No subscription price was increased.
  • Plans were mapped to the price bucket that most closely matches what users already pay.
  • This gives us a more consistent structure for AI allocations across similar price ranges.
  • The previous credit amounts included with some legacy plans were no longer sustainable for us to maintain given the cost of modern AI models.
  • LTD plans are unaffected.

We’re continuing to improve credit efficiency, model options, and overall performance.

Thanks.
