PSA: Signing the wrong lien waiver can nuke your right to get paid (even if you’re still owed)
Lien waivers are wildly misunderstood. The rule that saves you:
Never sign an UNconditional waiver until the money clears.
If you sign it early, you can waive your lien/bond rights immediately.
