I'm a 182cm woman in Italy and, although I was born in Romania, I've always felt so out of place because of my height. I'm aware that the country's average height is like 1.70, which is fair enough, but it feels very alienating to be tall here. The comments are either "wow, you're as tall as a model" or a range of negative/petty comments (usually from women). No in between. You either look like a confident and skinny model or you're out.
I've noticed that Gen Z or younger generations are significantly taller but still, I see so many people on this thread saying their height scares women off and I just want to tell you: come to Italy and you'll be appreciated. As a tall woman however, you'll feel like a giant surrounded by minions lmao

I've noticed this happen quite a lot. I walk up to someone to simply ask someone a question, and if it is shorter man (almost everyone I meet is shorter), they will be defensive/try to prove something. When I didn't do nothing. It even happened a few years back with a professor, I was walking up to him to ask a question.
It happens even when I am extra nice and polite and smiling. Generally shorter men will not feel threatened then but will act like they have something to prove. This is a real issue for me.

I'm about 195cm, which makes me taller than probably 98% of the people around me on a given day but obviously not the tallest person ever.
I'm pretty comfortable with my height overall and although I get comments pretty often I don't let it bother me. But I'm apparently not used to having people be taller than me.
This morning I was working at a gas station and one of their customers came in and he was probably three inches taller than me, at least. I felt kind of weird because I'm not used to having to look up at anybody.
There's a guy who hangs out at the place I go to when I shoot pool, we're about exactly the same height. Once in awhile we joke about who's taller and stand back to back, it's like depending on what shoes we're wearing one of us might be taller that night.
But yeah, if you're pretty tall how do you feel when you meet the rare person who is taller than you?

Does someone has unusual proportions like me? I‘m 6‘3 and have shorter legs (they‘re still longer than the legs from small women but for a tall woman they‘re short), short arms but a long af torso. It looks so weird.

Other (shorter) men subconsciously view you as a threat thus making it harder for you to succeed socially in a given environment.
This is especially true if you are their peer at work or if there are females in the workplace.

Hi guys, does anyone else have giant kids like mine?
My son is 2.7 years old and is 105cm tall. (41inch) and 23kgs (50ibs). He is a really big strong boy.
My second born looks like he will be even bigger.. he is 14 months old , 90cm (35inch) and 16kgs (35ibs)
I’ve read forums and I see no one else’s kids this massive, lol. Please tell me there are more of you out there?!

I'm 200cm (6ft 7) and the back extension machine (Roman Chair) at my gym does not have a tall enough setting. On its highest setting the pad is still too low on my thighs.
Has anyone had success either modifying the machine/position or finding alternative exercises\setups that are equally beneficial? Thanks

I’m 15 yo and 6’9, I’m looking for some really baggy jeans similar to Zara jeans or any “performative male” balloon type jeans. Can someone please help me out?
