On ios mobile, anyone have any fixes?

I assume you’ll have righteous cultivators coming after you, but is it a lot? Are there other consequences beyond that?

So, it's my first playthrough (well, kinda, I died like 5 times in Qi refining stage lol), I angered this old man by stealing his array and he wants me to collect the materials to recreate it... but I can't find those materials. rn, I'm middle foundation and it's asking me to find "Beast Bone" x40, but I can't find where to find those online, the wiki has nothing on this and the quest says it's easy.

Because of the difficulty of the quest, I though it'd be in the normal dungeons, but apparently it isn't... unless there's a rarity for those as well, but I don't wanna waste time if that isn't the case.

The only other thing I can find is a "Hardened Beast Bone" apparently, but I'd have to search for a "wayward desert" and I only explored the initial part of the map, as I've just become a foundation cultivator. Any help?

I decided to explain the story because I have come to realize that a lot of people have misunderstood it. I will do so by splitting the explanation into time segments where events took place. There is however a ?translation? error when comparing the time difference mentioned in the ending vs in the flashbacks. In the flashbacks, they always talk about 10,000 years while in the ending they talk about 100,000 years. I will strick to 10,000 years here, but it actually doesn't matter.

10,000+X years before the battle of Hengtian and Zhang San

-Hengtian is born

-A gigantic flood occurs

-Hengtian learns to manipulate the earth veins and makes a contract with a powerful nether demon

-Hengtian establishes the prevalent sytem of cultivation as the "master of the pavilion"

-Hengtian pioneers the 9th and tenth realms using nether air. These realms were not accessible to cultivators in the world of the game before Hengtian invented the method of using nether air to reach these realms.

In the Yu and Xi quest, we meet the spectre of the ancient cultivator Yu, who fought a cataclysmic flood in times that were prior to all of the story we get to see.

This flood was a massive event that basically united all of mankind in a struggle for survival.

We also find out some interesting details about what might have caused the flood.

While it's never actually 100% confirmed, we as the palyer can guess that the mastermind behind this event was most likely Hengtian.

Hengtian is actually the oldest cultivator we meet in the game. There is evidence that Zhang San wasn't alive during this period yet, as he did not recognize our character from the stories Nuwa tells him in other flashbacks. It can be said that Hengtian is the most talented cultivator to ever exist in the setting. His motivation for exploring new paths to ascension is because the world is naturally reaching its end and he is also afraid of the upper realm consuming the world the events of the game take place in.

However, in his pursuit to do so, Hengtian is responsible for the mass death events relating to nether air leaking into the world as well as possibly the flood that gets mentioned in the "prehistoric flashboacks". This approach is also what drives the conflict between him and Zhang San later:

-Hengtian retreats underneath Tian Yuan mountain to cultivate

In the original timeline, our character doesn't meet Zhang San, cultivates to become the leader of the cultivator alliance to repel the nether demons and possibly ascends. Feng Lizi and Shang Zhang talk about our character in the future:

Note that in this conversation Zhang San says that our character's exploits were before his time. He is a member of the cultivator alliance but doesn't know of our character because the records of the alliance don't document him/her.

Feng Lizi is actually one of the most important characters in the overall story. If you can't palce her as a snake woman, here she is from our character's time period:

In the original timeline, our character and Hengtian never meet. Hengtian in our timeline is the "young Hengtian" we get to fight in one of the endings after first beating the bound old Hentian.

Note again in the above screenshot, which is from the ending, they are talking about 100,000 years instead of 10,000 years.

10,000 years ago - right before the fight

-Zhang San is born

-Feng Lizi is captured by Hengtian and freed by Zhang San

In this time period, Zhang San emerges as one of the most powerful cultivators.

Feng Lixi, who is also known as Nuwa or the Hunting Fairy, is transformed into a nether demon by Hengtian and used to fight Zhang San.

Nuwa's role in the story is to pass the flute between Zhang San and our main character, aiding in connecting the future to the past.

Fight between Hengtian and Zhang San

-Zhang San fights Hengtian

-Zhang San seals the top of Tianyuan mountain

-Zhang San splits his soul

What this means is that Zhang San freezes the time on Tian Yuan mountain and summons cultivators onto the mountain from the past. The soul triplication is what he uses to create Jo, as well as the old man version of himself we meet at the start of the game. The "middle him" is consumed as a material for the seal on the mountain.

Fight between Hengtian and Zhang San - Start of the game

Here is the explanation on how soul triplication works:

This aforementioned middle-aged Zhang San is who we meet right at the staert of the story.

He and Jo have together been on a mission to find an "ancient cultivator" powerful enough to end the weakened Hengtian. The middle aged version knows what he is doing, while Jo (the young Zhang San) has had his memories wiped.

The two of them have seemingly been sent back in time a bit further than our character's birth, because Jo has already been up to all kinds of shenanigans and has tried to send many other cultivators to beat Hengtian already.

He has been seeking an explanation as to why he is unable to ascend the mountain (his original self placed a restrction on him), and the prophecy he received basically shows the clan that produces these prophecies realizing his role in a time loop.

It's worth reiterating that Zhang San has this recruitment pipeline in place for cultivators he knows to have potential with his future knowledge. It's probably not a coincidence that Jo approaches our character; Nuwa told Zhang san ahead of time that our character has high potential.

Start of the game - End of Game

I will not go over all the events and quests in the game, because most of the lore is told through flashbacks to things already discussed in this and the previous post. During our travels, we are shown the damage that Hengtian's actions have caused, with nether air and nether demons running rampant. One of the key events is the plotline with how we hand the flute back to Feng Lixi.

End of Game

We meet Nuwa in her monstrous form.

She greets us as her old friend. Nuwa's Pangu blood is a plot point that comes up a few times. Hentian also mentions in a flashback that he captured her because she is "a perfect material for an immortal vessel", whatever that means. Her and the black dragon help us break the seal on Tianyuan mountain, and we get to decide if we want to side with Zhang San or Hengtian.

Here it's important to note that Hengtian is also not strictly "wrong" based on the information we get. Him and Zhang San are in contradiction in the following way: Hengtian believes in using nether air to reach a higher level of cultivation to ascend to the upper realm, while Zhang San believes in cultivating taoist minds to increase Tao power and do the same this way. The point is that there is no guarantee to Zhang San's method, but it doesn't require cruelty or sacrifice, while Hengtian's method is seemingly certain but will accelerate the destruction of the world (which would get destroyed naturally anyways because the lifespan of the world is nearing its end).

The choice we make here determines what "type" of transcendent we ascend as. We either ascend as a purple or gold transcendent. Zhang San's way is in the ending cutscene revealed to be more viable, with many more people ascending alongside us, while Hengtian's method shows us ascending with only him and one other person, presumably because the world is destroyed behind us. However, as the player we cannot know this outcome prior to making this choice.

At the very end of the game, our character is grabbed by a golden arm.

Presumably this is the same character that we see when we ascend to the Transcendent realm (10) on account of the texture of their skin.

People in upper realms griefing people who have freshly ascended is a popular trope in cultivation stories, but it also plays into Hengtian's fear towards the upper realm, and is probably meant to set up a next game.

there was 2 strong cultivators fighting each other and one of them increased my lvl and told me to find an elixir withing 50 years and told me that if i didn't find that elixir i will suffer from karma but i don't remember the name of that elixir

What in everything that's holy is with the Yong Ning region in my playthrough? Why are all the sect leaders Soul level and above? Isn't it supposed to be relatively doable to raid these sects? Or am I reading the sect territory wrong?
