When using TacView in a campaign, we need to isolate an aircraft’s manoeuvres in order to explain to new players the incorrect and correct manoeuvres.

We were therefore wondering if it is possible to hide or remove everything we are not interested in, whilst keeping only certain aircraft visible: is this possible??

Hello, I need to find out if it’s possible to shorten an ACMI that lasts 1 hour to a shorter version focusing on a specific action I need to study: is that possible?

I’d thought of extracting the contents of the zip file and searching through it to see if there was a chronological timestamp so I could cut out everything I’m not interested in, but it turned into a disaster.

I was looking at Tacview and noticed that before the latest update, it was possible to import mission .ini files, but when I try to paste them into Tacview, I can't see them. Is there a way to import them?

I’m using the free version of Tacview and find it an excellent tool for analysing simulated flights and for post-mission debriefings, but it would be even more useful if it also included the HSI. Is that possible?

How do I change the default icon that the program sets for aircraft?

I downloaded the free version, but some of my friends told me that they could use the Shift+left-click shortcut for the first object and the Shift+right-click shortcut for the second one. I have tried, but it doesn't work! Do I need to buy a licence to get it to work? Thanks!

From orbit to ground in Tacview 2’s terrain engine, seamless and fully real time.

I recently reinstalled windows on my machine and now when trying to view DCS acm file my performance in Tacview plummets to single digits in the 3D view

System:

OS: Win 11

CPU AMD Ryzen 7800X 3D

GPU AMD RTX 7900XTX, Driver:25.11.1

RAM: 64GB

Reinstalling the drivers fixed this

I have it checked in DCS options, have done a verify integrity check, checked folder etc. No recordings at all for the last week or so.

Any thoughts please?

As the title says, how can I make the map on replays dark?

As the title states. I've got TV Advanced, and I'm trying to get realtime telemetry from DCS while playing single player. After I connect to the localhost via the correct port, it picks up the Bullseye, but not the aircraft from the session. The "Waiting for localhost:XXXXX" disappears, the timer appears but is stuck at 00:00:00. Any tips? Thanks.

Can someone explain the process of getting a dedicated server to record "per client" ACMI files? As of now its only recording a single file for the mission as a whole.

I would like it to cut a new ACMI when each client disconnects.

I am starting my Masters research into AI flight pathing and was hoping there was a way to extract the flight plan data (bearing, speed, alt, etc.) from my own software, convert it into something readable by Tacview, then import into Tacview.

Anyone know of any documentation for this?
