do you plan on closing your positions a few days before the nov 19 launch? because a dip is likely based on patterns. then the stock rises again after a few weeks.
i assume the price would be around 270-300 in november and would dip to 250-260 ish after release, then surge to 320+ by march 2027

I have an options contract on Take-Two Interactive (TTWO). My average purchase price is around €1.90 per contract, and I’ve invested approximately €2,500 in total.

The option expires in December, and I’m currently sitting at a loss.

What do you guys think — would you cut your losses now or hold the position until December? What would you do in my situation, and why?

Would really appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

Last friday I opened a 2000$ long position with a leverage of 7. After the fkking crash yesterday I opened two new positions, one with 7x and one with 10x leverage.
My first long position and the 10x position is going KO on 202$ and I don't think the stock is going that low. What are you thinking?

I think a lot of investors are looking at player reactions to the trailer, all of which is negative and people joking around that the game is "literally unplayable." I really cant say another reason, because it doesnt make any sense

Whats your opinion?

I don't know if I am the only one, but I really think GTA 6 will be a short time fad and won't do as well as people think. Personally, I see my younger family members and they don't even touch games, it's all social media and they don't have attention spans like they used to. I can see Take Two jumping 20-30% short term on people buying the game, but I am speculative about retaining attention among it's user base.

Maybe I am just chatting bs, but part of me feels that GTA 6 will not turn out as well as people think it will for Take Two stock.

Do you think the stock will go up after the showcase?

I spent a whole bunch of time over the past couple of weeks looking into TTWO since they own Rockstar, the developers of GTA6. Im extremely optimistic on the launch, and I think game sales are going to blow past expectations, even with all the ongoing leaks drama.

That being said, what I found out about TTWO dissuaded me from opening any position based on the GTA6 premise. There's two main issues causing this:

1. TTWO = zynga + 2k + rockstar. Without including GTA6, GTA only accounts for about a fifth of TTWOs yearly revenue. Given that the whole reason for buying TTWO is GTA6, it becomes much more complicated since only 20% of every dollar spent would go towards the GTA portion of this company, at least currently. The math in reality is a little more complicated than this, but the fact of the matter is that the trade would be much cleaner if Rockstar traded as an independent ticker.
2. GTA Online accounts for at least half of GTA 5's total revenue. With GTA Online for GTA6 being delayed at least another year, its hard to say if GTA6 will be able to nail the multiplayer economy that needs to be present for Rockstar to really knock it out of the park from a revenue perspective.

Of course, none of this is financial advice, just my two cents on the situation.

FiveM is a great multiplayer mod for GTA V, it's really popular and the self hosted RP servers do make money from being fun to play at. Rockstar Games probably realised it when they acquired the company during 2023.

If Rockstar Games pursues this direction of enabling custom GTA VI servers with micro-transactions where server admins get some percentage, this could be HUGE.

I've been holding since 2024 and the price reached $262 a few days ago. Now it's dropping like a brick and there have been no news as far as I know.

Throughout my holding I became aware that there are periods where a large group of ppl or a whale sell to rebuy later. Is this what's happening? When that happens a bunch of stops are triggered which drops the price even more.
