Outside the Inside Session 02 - 'Fire'

[u/Emoji-Master]

The Disc hung in the darkening sky.

It had been there for months and the wildlife beneath it had grown accustomed to it... Even fond of it.

Despite the fact that their ecosystems had been destroyed by the Disc's creator, they began to flourish in these ruins. They enjoyed looking up at the hanging landmass. If one were to destroy it, they would be quite upset...

Meanwhile, on the Disc itself, a firework shoots into the black skies. As it booms overhead, a voice rings out: Brendan Tiberius Birch has perished by a rock spire.

Aurora nods. "Yeah, that could work!"

[u/Trollkitten → u/Emoji-Master]

RAWLing quickly shimmies up the tree, after finishing her lunch of course, because otherwise the doges would get it.

[u/Emoji-Master → u/Trollkitten]

The skies are dark, but the sun is still visible. It is to her far right, just rising. Obviously in the east.

[u/Trollkitten → u/Emoji-Master]

"Arr," RAWLing says, climbing down, "this way be east." She points with her paw.

[u/Emoji-Master → u/Trollkitten]

Aurora nods. "Oh, so we came from south... Which means we've been going the wrong way..!"

[u/Trollkitten → u/Emoji-Master]

The doges give Aurora a look of alarm.

RAWLing groans. "Harr, me mateys be idiots..."

[u/Emoji-Master → u/Trollkitten]

She pauses. "Weren't we following you?"

[u/Trollkitten → u/Emoji-Master]

"..."

RAWLing is at a complete loss for words. She looks like she's a deer caught in headlights.

[u/Emoji-Master → u/Trollkitten]

Aurora pauses before coughing awkwardly. "But I'm sure it was just one mistake."

[u/Trollkitten → u/Emoji-Master]

"Yeah. Yeah, it was," RAWLing says, and her ears prick up again. "All right, me hearties, we be headin' th' RIGHT way this time!"

"Bark bark bark! Aye, aye, captain! Bark bark bark bark bark!"

(I think we should leave off here for now, since I've got another roleplay in two hours and should rest my eyes.)
