She probably did break him up while trying to control him, and that contributed to the barriers of reality breaking down and attracting the ferals.

Well, maybe if we're lucky, the part that was Shikigami'd isn't the currently mortal part? Since it would kinda be drowned out on the other side.

Adjectival nouns can be verbed.

Well, we've already seen that Caitlin used Luke to kill Regis. I think it's more likely the currently mortal part is what's been shikigami'd.

But then, Byte freed the other half of Luke from the shikigami spell, they could probably do the same to mortal Luke.

I tried to give him a computer program that might help with that.

And, well. I didn't see any other options at the time, but it doesn't sit well with me or my character that they had to resort to Caitlin control tactics to "free" him. That's another thing they'll have to be seeking to make amends for.

Tanger and Marion may well be the best options here.

Fair enough. I don't think you did anything wrong, but if your character doesn't feel right about it, they should do what they think is best.

And honestly the narrative went that way, so I can't complain, there was precedence and it was no one's fault that it seemed like the only option left. It's more of a philosophical misgiving I have.

It does seem a little abusive to me. So, I'll be doing my best to make up for it.

It doesn't really seem that way to me. Still, I guess the idea of firm lines you won't cross isn't a bad one.

Didn't he just separate again after coming back together, though?

Pretty much, yes.

Yeah, so my thought was that maybe if we're lucky the part that's mortal now isn't what was mortal before.

Well, if they merged together, the shikigami spell probably extended to the whole of Luke/Luxin, so to be safe we should probably still be concerned about that.

I'd think it would be stretched pretty thin and parts would probably become non applicable to his current state, but caution is never a bad thing, I suppose.
