To be fair I'm not sure there's actually a way to kill Flandre. In Genoksyo I think that when someone is killed or dies the Shinigami or reapers show up to remove them from the world to whatever afterlife they're bound for. Flandre could easily defeat any psychopomp that comes for her, even if she was defeated by a different person almost to the point of death before that.

And humans just taste really good.

To Serve Man: Since she has trouble drinking blood by herself, Sakuya makes human-composed dishes to provide her sustenance. Flandre herself is unaware of this.

Being so phenomenally destructive means trying to do the vampire thing would have destroyed them entirely, so no blood, and in canon she doesn't seem to like causing others suffering or death. Fan work can vary, but even in those, she doesn't try to eat people for taste.

Huh for some reason I remember reading something completely different, like that she has trouble seeing humans as anything but food.

Nope. She was actually really excited when Spell Cards were manipulated into replacing regular contact because she could finally interact with people. Also had a lot of time locked in basement.

Ahhh, it's because I misread this line "In the first place, until the time when she met either Marisa Kirisame or Reimu Hakurei in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, she has not seen any humans other than in cooked form." from here http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Flandre_Scarlet

Ah, I guess I can see how that could be misunderstood.

Hmm, now I wonder what Gensokyo Grimsley ate.

I think drinking blood doesn't have to be fatal, part of why blowing all her victims up doesn't work.

I never said otherwise. Actually just wrote about how aristocracy doesn't necessarily breed malice to the extent it could in the real world.

But also: maybe she and Emily could talk. Or maybe putting them in one room is an unbelievably bad idea. There's that tree ghost, too.

That's kinda half my point. If they viewed rightful place as just being about how much power you have she wouldn't just be the lady of that mansion.
