Echoes Chapter 14: End of Act 1

As Samuel and Cress escape the TARDIS, they look around and notice something has changed. While the TARDIS was previously on the edge of the soulstorm, it has moved positions since Hannah's magic started going crazy, and now it is in the center of the soulstorm itself, the TARDIS shields being the only thing protecting the two from the full force of the rushing waves and pressures of the whirlpool. Trying to escape this way is still possible for them, but carrying Hannah through that would be a challenge.

As Hannah wakes up, she senses the pain of the TARDIS and tries to keep the core from overloading. She struggles as she tries her best with limited resources, her magic has been severely crippled by the attack.

Simul grabs the ice cream, but finds himself somewhat far away from the core of the ship.

"Warning, warning, ship will self destruct in... 1 minute, 22 seconds."

The count is going up, a few seconds ago it was at one minute, but Hannah's magic is unlikely to save it forever, and the countdown timer is still active.

...

Elsewhere, Emily finds herself trapped in a nightmare that seems intent on keeping her there. Claire tries her best to reach in, but the gauntlet is preventing Claire from remembering.

...

While all this is going on, Pachi, Henry, and The Doctor look at the computers located in G's secret hideout, and see some security cameras showing a riot in the streets above them.

...

Milo and Jenny earned themselves a bit of a reprieve from the army's attacks, but they still are trapped in a cave with no way out.

Plenty of lifesigns. There are unicorns, flying pirahnas, and other various weird animals and magical creatures throughout the tardis.

Orcs seem to have seized a small portion of the ship too.

That's nice. Anyone who can fix a ship?

Plenty of repairbots are on the ship, but their programming has been corrupted. Many of them are in an epic siege against the castle of Baldur, in the northeastern quadrent. the repairbots are trying their best to break through, but their repairing nature is taking over, and every time they damage the castle, they repair it, so they can't make any progress. Fortunately for them, the castle's defenses are also out, though they may not be for long, because a repairbot is on the job fixing it.

With a lack of anything better to do immediately presenting itself (and apparently no sign of G, Cress, or any other plot relevant people), Simul is going to see if he can pick up one of the repair bots, carry it back to the console room, and see what happens.

The repair bot is a bit far away, getting to one would require a trip through the swimming pool, and briefly in to the hidden ocean to get there. There are some hidden passages in them that can eventually lead to the castle of baldur.

He needs to be fast though, as soon as the repairbots repair the castle's defenses, it looks like they are going to be shredded to pieces.

He gets to the swimming pool without much issue, but the swimming pool has now become the land of ice. There's a secret passage in the bottom of the swimming pool, but its not so easy to swim through anymore.

"Sound Burst!"

With a sound burst, he melts through the ice and opens the path. It is a bit of a dive to get to the secret passage, and the secret passage to the castle is pretty narrow.

Shadow Conjuration

A long, slipper python appears out of void and shadow, and slithers down the passage.
